A lovely property very well equipped and presented. Fabia and her family are most helpful hosts. Donnalucatta is quiet and peaceful but with easy access to Scicli and Modica.

This gated and terraced apartment is extremely well designed and maintained. The large dining/sitting area with adjacent balcony overlooking the sea, is great for entertaining or leisurely breakfasts. We all loved the view and spend a lot of time on the balcony. The kitchen and dining room are well stocked with dinnerware, utensils, pots, and pans. The dishwasher and washing machine were well used by us (i.e., 4 adults and a 2 year-old)! The beds are large and very comfortable. The relation of the side terrace to the apartment is not clear in the photographs; however, the entrance to the apartment is via the side terrace ,and at the back of the terrace from Via Balena is a very large, tiled parking space that is gated. At the one end of the terrace, by the parking space, is an outdoor shower which we used daily after a day at the beach. There is a grill on the terrace, which I would have liked to use but we found it a bit old and rusted. Maybe it is our Canadian hangup with large propane/gas BQs! Fabia and her family were very helpful and friendly as I found most Sicilians to be. The apartment is well situated for getting to the Donnalucata beach as well as other beaches such as Marina di Ragusa. It is a very short walk to the Donnalucata beach, however, there is the usual problem with walking by the road in Sicily, that is, there is no safe space and there is a lot of broken glass by the trash dumpsters on the one side the road. Donnalucata beach is very nice, yet it would be good if the sand was cleaned since there were a lot of cigarette butts and other things in the sand. The beach at Marina di Ragusa is very well taken care of. A wonderful place to stay; thank you Fabia!

A lovely comfortable apartment overlooking the sea. Fabia couldn’t do enough for us and made us feel at home.

We have spent a very pleasant week in this apartment. The apartment is very comfortable, well equipped and fully meet the description of the advertisement. The view from the apartment is lovely and you can hear the waves smashing on the rocks. As there is a road between the balcony and the sea your sleep may get disturbed from the noise of the cars passing by, not a big deal for us. We didn't need to switch the A/C on even if we had 36C for a couple of days. The apartment doesn't get hot and you sleep well at nights. The owner Fabia is very attentive and kind to her guests, and present if requested. She will give you good advices about the area. The location of the apartment is perfect to visit the baroque area (Ragusa, Scicli, Modica and Noto) and not that far from the Valle dei Templi in Agrigento. It is plenty of beautiful beaches nearby. beautiful appartment with beautiful seaview, 2 terraces, well equipped with airco and internet connection and everything you need, superfriendly landlady, nice beaches very near, beautiful baroque cities in the neighbourhood, 2 bikes included. The seafront street in front of the house is lorryfree but can be quite lively on weekends, but one soon adapts and doesn't notice anymore
