Such a cozy cabin! Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Check-in/out couldn't have been easier. The fly shop is also definitely worth a visit!

For a fishing cabin, this is a perfect place. If you are not there for fishing, I would still recommend it highly.

The cabin was mindfully prepared with many touches, making our stay super cozy. I highly recommend this for any adventurous individual(s). We had the incredible opportunity to meet and talk with the owner, which was such a treat! He is fantastic! The location was only 35 minutes from Smith Rock and a short jump to several points along the river for hiking and fishing. We look forward to returning soon!

We had a fantastic stay at the Deschutes River Camp cabin! The cabin was equipped with everything we needed for 4 days in central Oregon, and the fly shop on the property had everything a forgetful fisherman might have left in Washington. If you're planning a trip to central Oregon I would highly recommend the Deschutes River Camp; it's a great place for families as well as fisherman!

We stayed for the eclipse and it was a great experience. We booked the cabin for 4 adults and at the last minute they were able to accommodate 2 additional kids (whose eclipse plans had fallen through) by setting them up with a tent next to the cabin at a reasonable extra cost. The owner was great and clearly cared about maintaining a peaceful environment at an otherwise crazy time. The cabin is basic but well stocked and comfortable, and the six of us had a great time.

Would have been ideal for my trip, however the lack of properly working kitchen appliances made things less then ideal.

Excellent space, and everything needed for cooking or heating up your meals. Air conditioning too which was definitely needed a couple of the days we were there.

I really loved staying here. I didn't come to fish, I came to mourn in the desert. I didn't need anything fancy, I needed a retreat. This place was perfect for me. I could have camped, but decided I wanted heat and a shower. This camp is great, and if I did fish, I would camp here - probably often. The fella who runs the place is a true gentleman. The house is half of a duplex, and utilitarian - utilities that work. Fantastic furnace (or however it's heated), the tub is nice and deep, everything I needed was in the kitchen. I bought some firewood, and the bundle was big and burned beautifully. The robins are obese. Perhaps it's that time of year? ...Saw golden eagles, a couple of bighorn sheep on the steep hillside, and Warm Springs and Madras are close if you need fry bread or a sandwich or something. The fisherpeople staying at the camp were obviously having a good time. (Looked like plenty of room for boats and trailers.) I am thankful, and much more at peace. Thank you.
