Creekside Cozy 3BD Near Dunes or Corporate Stay

Wonderful little cozy and clean niche. Perfect for a get away!!

The downstairs apartment was very nice and clean. Very cozy space. Beds were comfortable and the sitting area was nice for lounging. Accessing the apartment in the back made it feel more private and secluded. Things to note: if you are noise sensitive, because this is a basement apartment the HVAC system is tucked to the side of the bathroom which was constantly running so the noise from that running was loud. The fan over the stove was running and could not be turned off so consistently hearing that fan running. One night there was a dog on the premises, not sure if it was the owners dog or if there is another room rented out, but the dog on and off whined and barked throughout the night waking me and my daughter up several times. The property is an easy drive to the dunes, however it’s 19 minutes to the visitor center and 30 minutes to get to the beaches, not 12 minutes as stated in the listing. Overall, it was just ok.

The check in was smooth and the host was very accommodating to a travel delay I had. Great location, very clean, beautiful kitchen and bathroom. I would book again with this host.

Overall the place was pretty nice. Only negatives were the bathroom door didn’t lock and the listing states that the Indiana dunes beach is 12 minutes away but it was almost 30 minutes away. I would stay again.

The apartment quiet and clean and in a very nice and safe neighborhood. It fit our needs nicely for a family of four.

Fantastic location for visiting the Dunes and we loved our quick trips to downtown Valpo. Highly recommend eating at Lincoln Flats for dinner. We came here with our 2.5 year old and 5 month old and there was a lot of stuff to do. Just wish we could’ve stayed for a couple more days to fit more into our trip. The communication was great with the host and the neighborhood was very quiet and safe for families. The only thing we rated less than 5-stars was the water had a sulfur odor, but we chalked that up to irregular use of the pipes with it being a vacation rental. We bought bottled water and it wasn’t a huge issue. The place was clean and beds were comfy. Wal Mart was close by to stock up on groceries and the grill and kitchen were great. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re wanting to see the Dunes and Michigan City.

The location was great the property was beautiful. However there were a few things we was not happy with. The kitchen sink smelled like stagnant water went you use it. There was only one working TV that we were not warned about. Other then that we had a great time.

The downstairs apartment was a nice set up. It was easy drive to Indiana Dunes which is what we came to visit. Communication with the host was easy and prompt.
