Cozy hilltop private apartment in the hills 1/2 Hr from Siena. Best suited for an individual or a couple who prefers the solitude of the countryside. Suitable for preparing your own meals You will need your own car to get around. Interior is basic and small but adequate. The shower could use an upgrade and adding a microwave oven would be a nice feature. Gabriele and Patrizza are wonderful hosts. Gabriele’s suggestions for such aspects as local restaurants and best parking in Siena, etc go a long way in making your stay very comfortable. Location was perfect for touring Tuscany in all directions.

Simply perfect for the three of us (2 adults & our son)!

Situated in the middle of Tuscany, this lovely apartment allows relatively short travel times to most of the wonderful towns, cities and places of interest. The apartment is well set up and nicely appointed. Heating is expensive (3 Euros per hour) but there is a big fireplace with free wood that lends that extra romantic flair as well as maintaining an adequate temperatur. The hosts were lovely and forth coming with tips and ideas for sightseeing. Breakfast every morning (April!)in our private garden with an amazing view, was one of our many highlights. Can highly recommend this accommodation. Quiet, clean, comfortable and lovely hosts who went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Thankyou very much to you both.

Great place to get away from it all . Very peaceful setting. Didn't want to leave!

Gabriele and Patrizia are welcoming, relaxed hosts who have a super little apartment just right as a self catering base for a week in the Val d' Elsa countryside. Their driving directions were easy to follow, and the apartment was well equipped. We loved the little garden which was delightfully warm in the late October afternoons even though the property is on a hill. We highly recommend this apartment and would certainly book again if returning to the area.

Good little holiday home. Everything you need in a touring holiday, it was quite adequate for myself and my husband, and the views over the Tuscan countryside were just amazing. Very well situated for Siena and San Gimignano etc. and a fast train into Florence. Could have done with slightly more lighting in evening, but very comfortable.

The place is right in the middle of wine country. Outside your front door is rollong hills and green fields. Day trips to Assisi, Chianti and Siena are a must. All the crowds and after you have toured you return to a quiet mountian top. Good restaurants close. Grocery store close. The place is clean, roomy. Bring your essentials, coffee, breakfast goodies and so on. Again, your views ot the window are spectacular.

A lovely place to stay - well away from the tourist centres, but close enough to see the sights. We were made welcome on arrival with a bottle of wine, and received a parting gift of home-grown lemons - very good hospitality. Unfortunately, we could not make much use of the garden with table & chairs - the weather was not in our favour. But that is something Gabriele & Patrizia cannot influence - despite trying a weather dance. Well recommended for a stay in the countryside.
