The Space: Meet Willie Jo, the heart behind this home! At 90, she's lived a life as rich as the decor she's curated here; she came to Charleston as a young bride, raised three children on these streets, then left in her 50s for a new adventure in San Francisco, where she met her second husband, an Italian who introduced her to a lifelong love of Italy and years of travel throughout Europe. After he passed, Willie Jo returned home to Charleston and bought this apartmenton Ashley Ave, filling it with the Italian warmth and coziness that reminds her of him.
