Cozy Guest House in Fort Lauderdale: Escape to Serenity!

I loved our stay! The place was exactly what we needed for our first trip to Florida. Cleanliness is next to Godliness and this place was a prime example😉

The host is very professional and understanding. The room is cleaned and completely private. If you pack light and can manage small space this is the place for you.

The property host was very accomodating and welcoming and the property itself was very charming and well kept.

Maria is a responsive and gracious host. Our stay was very comfortable!

Had a little hiccup at the beginning but the host, Maria, went above and beyond to make things right. Property was very cozy, quiet, clean, and well maintained. Highly recommend this property and host. We will be back!

Nice and clean and was just what we needed

We stayed for 4 days prior to going on a cruise. The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The couch was low to the floor and there was a step up to the bathroom so this might be a problem for anyone with mobility issues. Bonus was the TV that had good selections including Prime Video. We enjoyed our stay.

The kitchen was very clean and the place was pet friendly.

Maria, has a nice cozy place to stay. The backyard was nice to have for my dog.She provided dog towels since it can be wet in the mornings.The shower was great, since I was working all day, it was nice to have a good shower!The bed pillows could be better, but I always bring my own. The bottle of wine was a nice touch, and waters in the fridge. The location is about 5 miles to the beaches and the airport, nice residential neighborhood.

We enjoyed our stay very much! We would absolutely consider staying here again next time we are in town :) it was very clean, modern, and well laid out. Our host was lovely, very responsive, and allowed us to check out an hour later which really helped us out.Only thing we felt was missing was the option of watching cable tv since the Olympics were playing.

Everything was great! Warm and welcoming! My daughter slept well for her gymnastics meet at the convention center near by the next morning. Thank you for the accommodations!

The space was great and cozy

The home was very cute and cozy. We were only there one night but would have loved to spend more time there. Maria was very welcoming and was an excellent communicator. She left waters in the fridge and candy at our bedside. The home was well furnished with many extras to make travel easy. Highly recommend!

I reserved this cozy-small guest house (first time for us) detached from this beautifully kept and well maintained updated modern-home with a private entrance and back-yard/patio area prior to entering the very spacious and again very well-kept modern guesthouse. It was extremely very clean, safe area, and everything else you would need for a short stay in the heart of old-school Ft. Lauderdale for the best bang for your buck accommodation in town. The service was top-notch, and the host Maria was exceptional. She went above and beyond by even including a happy birthday note for my wife, with candies, and a bottle of wine. So, kind and generous that we give a TRUE RATING of 10 OUT OF 5!! Highly recommend and guaranteed to exceed your expectations. Did I mention they are also pet friendly for a small fee. By far one of our most pleasant experiences, and zero issues with our 1-night stay. Thank you, Maria!

Accommodations were very well appointed and everything was great for our stay

What a perfect place for our post cruise stay for a couple of days. Cute, very clean and well appointed casita. Quiet residential neighborhood. The host also took some time to help us old folks figure out how to open the back of our rental car. I can’t thank him enough. Even though the rental is connected to the main residence, it is VERY private. Great place to stay.

This guest house was exactly how it was presented on web site. It was quiet and relaxing. The host had sodas and water in fridge and chocolate candies on the night stand. All was appreciated. The grocery store is with in a mile so we walked and picked up a few items we needed. The uber ride from airport was about 30 and the ride to port terminal slightly more but still reasonable so guest house is great for anyone flying in for a cruise.

Extremely easy check in and the property is very well maintained. Easy to get to anywhere in Fort Lauderdale area all the way to Miami Beach!! A real snap to get to Fort Lauderdale International Airport. The wine upon our arrival was really nice touch !! Thank you so much Maria.

Maria was very welcoming! Very responsive and helpful! The place is quite small but well put together and has all amenities necessary. I would say that 6 nights was quite a lot for such a small space but for the fact that we mostly used it for sleep it was more than enough. Maria was gracious enough to let us use her beach umbrella and chairs which we really needed! Overall great stay

This was perfect for our one night stay before our cruise! Everything we needed. The host was so accommodating with our flights being changed and allowed us to check in early. 100% would recommend!

Our host was so sweet and helpful. The Guest House is adorable with many thoughtful extras which made it feel more like home, from the decor to the condiments in the kitchen. The totally private backyard with comfortable chaise lounges under a big umbrella is a welcome way to enjoy the Florida sunshine in comfort. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this Guest House and would definitely stay there again.

The place itself was very cute and stocked and cover clean. I would not have complained if it weren’t for a few things that I can’t let go of. We only stayed one night and cleaned the place according to instructions but then got a notification that I was being charged for extra which I am disputing. My other complaint is the noise. She owns a very, very loud small dog that barks a lot and in her instructions she asked us to be quiet past 10 PM and we were she however, was not past 1130. She came home loud with the dog barking, slamming doors and woke me up from my sleep. I had also had originally booked for two separate nights at the beginning and end of our vacation. However, our flights changed and I had to cancel the later one that was on 16 November however, when I went to check in the app, I was unable to view it so I messaged the host and asked her to review our reservation and double check this for me. She then assured me that I only have the one booking for the night of the seventh. Therefore, after the fact I was charged for this and was only able to get a 50% refund due to the timing so our host either lied to us or did not bother to check this place was very cute and nice, but this host is not it.

The guest house was just like advertised! It was really clean upon arrival and was perfect for our stay. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for our meals and even had complimentary snacks for us! We were pleased with the set up!

There was an infestation of ants and spiders. I started to take google photos searches of the spiders after the 2nd day and I killed 4 brown recluse. I notified the host and she said that is normal for the time of year. She said she would fumigate which she said she’s did the next day after I left and told me I could come back which would be unsafe if they truly fumigated. I had to leave in the middle of the night when I woke up and there was a brown recluse right above my head on ceiling by the light. I drove around stopping at hotels to try find alternative accommodation and the 4th hotel had availability so I stayed there for the remainder for my 10 days wound care course.

We were looking for a place to spend the night before flying out of Fort Lauderdale. This place was a gem, very clean and well-appointed with everything we needed PLUS!The welcoming gifts were a nice touch. We planned on going out to explore the area and we never left until check out! Very welcoming and great location away from it all but yet close to what you need. Will keep on our list of places to stay when in the area! A

The Cozy Guesthouse is immaculately clean, very comfortable bed and futon, wonderfully soft towels, and Maria is an excellent communicator! This was our second stay and we will be back! Great location, and wonderful hospitality! Thank you Maria!

This place is amazing! It’s just a small little place but perfect for my spouse and I and our golden retriever! They were amazing and everything looked amazing when first walking in! Would stay here again!

Our stay was very comfortable and clean, kitchenette was a little awkward to manuever in, so we didn't cook much. Maria was very responsive with our questions, and neighborhood was nice and quiet. We had a very pleasant stay. Supermarket was walkable, and laundromat was nearby too.

Very clean and adequately equipped for its size. Only negative was the uncomfortable bed. Needs replacement.

We stayed for two nights on our way to the Keys. The unit was very clean and well appointed. Very comfortable bed; soft, fluffy towels; amazing shower. We would definitely return in the future.

This place was perfect! I wasn't staying in FL that long and needed somewhere to lay my head and relax. Everything was close by. Stores, shopping centers, you name it. It was close by. Let me tell you about the bed and pillows. Comfortable!!! I slept like a baby. I just wanted to lay in bed all day.Everything was great! Maria is such a fabulous host. I will definitely be back.

This one bedroom place was awesome! Very clean it felt like a one bedroom on your own. They have all the amenities and they gave extra water which I did not use because I always carry my own. They were available when I needed them. It doesn’t seem like it’s connected to the house, but it is.. I was able to cook sleep eat relax come in and out without any problems. I would give it a 10 stars if I could.

This modern little suite is very clean and well kept. In a very quiet and safe neighbourhood. The host was very helpfull and even had toys for our 2 year old and all the beach stuff we needed. Highly recommended!

Great property with some nice touches....chocolates, bottle of wine, water. Location is a little bit further to the beach than thought....needed uber for day trip. Local supermarket 15min walk away. Would stay here again without a doubt.

Maria’s home is seriously the best you will find . My daughter and I came for the Orange Bowl . Maria was great with directions and left the lights on for us because we would be arriving late. She also left us a sweet note, candies , snacks and bottled water . No detail spared in this cute little apartment. Very very clean! We were so comfortable . The rain shower head was amazing . Soft sheets and fluffy towels! Definitely a place to return to!

This rental was perfect for our needs (one adult, one kid, one dog). It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The fully fenced-in yard is a huge plus. Our host was very easy to reach and very kind. We hope to stay here again next time we're in the area. :)

As soon as i walked in i was absolutely floored with the updated CLEAN studio. Great for 1-2 people. Bed, couch, sink, fridge, plug in george foremanish style cooking stove if needed, bathroom was great. Great water pressure. Comfy bed. Left som treats- snacks in the fridge, bottle of white wine on the table. It was the perfect stay. Neighborhood was nice. Right down the road from Hardrock. A 15 dollar uber. 5 stars.
