The host was a nice person BUT the unit was very unsatisfactory. 1. No TV remote for 21 days. 2. No windows in small bedroom. Thus no cross ventilation. 3. Sliding glass doors not cleaned. 4. Screen door ripped and not repaired 5. Spiders, some very large, on bedroom walls and in clothes closets. We continually had to kill them. My wife hates spiders! 6. No garbage containers inside unit with liners. Just had to leave daily garbage outside on patio for host to pick up. 7. There is a deck above the patio which leaks rain water making use impossible when raining. 8. Parking is a problem. Eventually host directed us to a spot approximately 50 yards away. 9. Host’s 2 dogs were a problem for guests. Constantly barking and growling when we entered or exited the unit. We were told by a kitchen construction man that he was bitten. We also heard from HOA sources that 5 people had been bitten. We didn’t want to waste time pursuing. Best to discuss with HOA President. 10. We were promised a 200 refund for lack of tv remote. Never received. To be frank we were so disappointed with our stay we decided to depart on August 3 instead of Aug 15. Neighbors thought host should give us a refund but we never asked. Just relieved to be gone. BTW i am 81 and my wife 75 We are not picky guests but this experience is one to forget.
