Welcome to the Homemade Haven! This one bedroom, one bath apartment is located in the downstairs portion of our home. It is a walkout/daylight unit so you don’t get any basement-y feel. ZERO stairs to access the unit! The entrance is located on the backside of our house so you do have to walk around through the grass but it’s all flat.
The bedroom has one king size bed, dresser, 2 nightstands, a fan and luggage rack in the closet. There is also a TV with streaming apps. We off

Stayed Sep 4, 2025We have stayed at many Vrbos and rate this one among the highest for cleanliness, style, taste, comfort, and location. I would like to rate more than 5 stars. It is much larger than the photos make it look. The bed is extremely comfortable. I am multiple Chemical sensitive and do have some fear when using Vrbos due to use of unknown cleaners and laundry soaps. No problem here as all was not only very clean but safe soaps and cleaners are used. Loved the welcome gift of homemade bread. I highly recommend this Vrbo as we enjoyed our 4 day stay and will keep it on our list if we return this way.

Stayed May 2, 2025The unit was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only suggestion I have is to put a way where the bedroom windows could be darkened. The street light doesn’t allow the room to be totally dark.
