This is an amazing city centre apartment, newly refurbished to an outstanding standard. Located right in the centre of Edinburgh, you couldn't get a better location. This, put together with the delightful interior make for ideal short breaks in this beautiful city.
Situated on the first floor of an B listed building. The bright living room is complimented by a large window with a Juliette balcony overlooking the bustling Royal Mile (Canongate).

A wide range of shops, bars and restaurants are literally a stones throw from the apartment.

The apartment offers a large living room, with two large 3 seater sofas and one armchair There is a large dining table with seats and a bench.

Two double bedrooms both with ample bedroom storage, one of them with a double bed and the other one with two singles. One bedroom looks on to the Royal Mile and the other to the shared paved garden at the rear of the property with views out to Calton Hill and its monuments.

The separate kitchen comes fully equipped including fridge/freezer, oven and induction hob, washing/dryer machine, dishwasher microwave, toaster and kettle. It has a large window with views out to Calton Hill and its monuments.

Beside the kitchen is a utility cupboard with an iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner.

Just off the entrance is the bathroom, which has a heated towel rail, a shower over the bath, and views out to Calton Hill and its monuments (with frosted glass at the bottom of the window for privacy).

The property has laminate flooring except in the carpeted bedrooms and tiled bathroom, and is decorated in neutral cream and stone tones, which together with the large windows throughout, confer a calming and refreshing atmosphere. With a capacity for 4, this apartment offers a great retreat for 2 couples or familes. Please contact us first if you wish to come with small children.

Arrival time is 4pm however the property manager will be as flexible as possible with prior notice. Check out time is 10am. Later check outs may be possible with prior arrangement.

    This was probably the best VRBO we ever rented. Duncan the host would check in to make sure we were enjoying our stay and if we needed anything. The location was the perfect location right on the Royal Mile with an easy walk to all attractions and pubs. I would highly recommend this rental.

    After a rather off putting view of a grubby entrance and stone stairs with pealing paint on the hallway walls arriving in the apartment was a reliefAlthough an old building the accommodation was well presented with comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen The position was wonderful halfway down the Royal mile it was within easy reach of shops, pubs restaurants and attractions Duncan was an excellent host and communicated well with us. We really enjiyed our stay.THANK YOU

    Wonderful apartment overlooking the Royal Mile. Walkable from the train station and steps away from all the historic sights. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Host was responsive with questions. Grocery right up the street. We definitely recommend this place if you have children or a small group.

    We enjoyed the location of this apartment and were easily able to access buses and walked to a lot of sites and relaxed dining. This apartment was comfortable and well appointed, the door locking was a bit tricky. We had a couple of early issues with WIFI which Duncan sorted for us quickly. The entrance was a bit shabby with steep stairs, but once inside it was clean and comfortable.

    This is a great location in the city and a space that made it feel like home away from home. We loved hanging out in the living room between long walks exploring the city. Duncan was a great host, super communicative, and made check-in and check-out easy as pie. Would definitely recommend for future visits!

    Wonderful location right on the Royal Mile and close to train station/buses. Multiple great restaurants nearby, with several right across the street. Clean, comfortable flat with space for our family to spread out. Beds were lovely and flat was well-outfitted. Duncan was also a great communicator and responded immediately to our questions and also offered some excellent suggestions for our stay. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Edinburgh.
