It was very cool!

It is a quaint 300 sq ft garden level motel style room w/ a TV, mini fridge, microwave etc. It does NOT have AC but it only got 72degrees in the room despite it being HOT outside. The location is great for walking as its only 2 blocks from the tourist area. It has parking. Its in a quiet location. The room was clean overall. The bathroom functioned but the shower needs some new Caulk and some of the floor tiles were loose in the living room. It was a fine place for the price and location. I'd stay there again.

Check in and out very easy. Rooms are very comfortable and decorated nicely. Excellent patio. Great coffee. Very walkable to Taos square, but also short driving to other restaurants and shops further away.

Very quiet neighborhood, no traffic noise at all. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean. The enclosed outdoor courtyard was very nicely done, pleasant experience. Be aware that some sites say breakfast is included. It is not. Still, a very good stay.

Beautiful courtyard. Owner very responsive to needs. Just a couple of blocks away from the plaza. We walked everywhere in the downtown area.

The property is quaint and in a great location. The incense smell is strong and the refrigerator makes a clanking noise, making it more difficult to sleep.

The tv could not be used, perhaps dead batteries. The couch was uncomfortable. The unit was smaller than we imagined. The location was very good.

The property was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the communication from the property manager was great! The only thing that was a little challenging was the entrance to the property as we were driving a standard bed pickup with 4 doors. Maneuvering into the lot was a bit tight, but after we got into the property we found a alternate entrance/exit. Great place and would recommend

Left a day early due to cleanliness issues. Host did not respond to timely explanation of issues and refused to refund cleaning fee for unclean space, let alone the night we didn't start. I found an excrement mark on my towel. Anyone with pets or children knows this washes out, thus I can only conclude that my bath towel was unwashed. Spare towels also dirty. Floors dirty and in bad repair. Long hair left in tub. I respectfully submitted my concerns to the host as is required and was ignored/not refunded. I did not bring up the issues immediately because I can generally let a few things go and I have PTSD so do not do well with confrontations, but crap on towels is unacceptable. I've stayed in well over 40 such places on my travels and never been treated this way. Disgusting.

The place is about 2 blocks from the plaza, so very convenient to walk to. The coffee pot wasn't working and was replaced quickly.

Great location, photos of the room and the property were exactly as experienced. The courtyard is great! Easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping on the square. Parking is tight. The address to access the parking has a very narrow driveway. It was impossible for my pick-up truck to enter without hitting the fence or the building. Fortunately there was a rear entrance that I could fit into.Unfortunately, when my wife pulled back the blankets on the bed, her pillow case was stained with black mascara or something and there was hair on the fitted sheet. We ended up sleeping with our clothes on that night.

This was a fantastic place to stay during our visit to Taos! Check-in was easy and we enjoyed being so close to the plaza and other attractions in town. The manager, Louisa, was extremely nice and very helpful! Our car battery died during our stay and she was willing to come and give us a jump. We also accidentally left an item in our room after check-out and she kept it safe until we could pick it up the next day. We would recommend staying at La Posada and will hopefully be back soon!

The owner stopped y and was very pleasant and open to the one suggestion reference the refrigerator.

Beautiful grounds and gardens. Love these old adobe compounds ! Host was very responsive to a request and then also followed up with us.

I loved the quietness, I would like to return when the weather is warmer to enjoy the lovely patios and garden

Adorable little place! Loved the atmosphere they created and it was close to a really great breakfast location. It was just a stopover on our roadtrip so we did not see much during the day, but we would definitely come back next time we are around.

The historic cozy room in taos was very comfortable clean and super close to shops restaurants, art galleries. We slept very well. We appreciated hearing the church bells from Our Lady of Guadalupe parish nearby. Plus our room had a motherly vibe with all of the OLG artwork.

The unit itself was just as described and very nice. The roads to the complex are very narrow. Trying to turn into the parking area, I scraped my rental car on a stucco bldg. abutting the road. Just a caution - I was driving a compact car.

The property was beautiful and close to restaurants, museums, art galleries and shopping destinations. The courtyard provided a quiet space to enjoy flowers, birds, butterflies, and simply relax between activities.

I was in town for a few days of mountain hiking and this room was my home base. Perfect for what I needed. Very clean, loved the decor, and a quiet property and neighborhood.Loved the complimentary coffee! Would absolutely stay here again.

The bed wasn't attached to the headboard so the bed moved.There was no air-conditioning, I don't recall that in the listing?You stocked your refrig with Arizona Green Tea, why not water? Also Doritos? How about something unique to the area?You can plug in the coffee maker without moving the microwave. Big inconvenience. perhaps a power strip?You have us drop the trash outside where there is no bin, the skunks keep getting into it.

I loved this cozy space! It was a great combination of comfort and vintage charm, located close to everything I wanted to do.

this was such a lovely spot I managed to land for a last minute two-night stay. Small and charming in the best Taos way. Pretty southwestern art and decor. Quiet, bed was comfy, blooming courtyard was a joy. Easy check-in, responsive hosts.

Overall , good. Lots of rules …rules seemed a bit over the top.

I have stayed here before and loved it so much, I returned a year later. The quiet neighborhood and convenience to downtown restaurants make it a great place to stay. The rooms are quaint and the outdoor courtyard a dream! Can't wait until next year!

I wanted to be close to the plaza because My first visit to Taos I wanted to walk everywhere. Residence is quiet and unassuming, clean and comfortable. Parking next to residence.

Walkable to town. Clean. Quiet. We loved it.

Two grandmothers drove from north Texas to Taos for a short retreat to relax and make a rug together. The inn was perfect for our purpose. It was quiet, comfortable, and close to the plaza and art museums/galleries we wanted to visit. Manager was accessible by phone and helpful. Enjoyed meeting and chatting with owner.

The space was clean and cute and quite walkable to town! Parking was easy and close and the lock box made check in and out super easy.

The accommodation was ok- it was small (that was expected) and the bed was very firm. Very very firm. Pillows were ok. Bathroom was good. It has lots of charm, the location is fantastic, everything was spotless. We’d recommend it for 2 people.

The accommodations were nearly ideal for my 4-night stay. The room was clean. The bathroom was serviceable, and the property itself was quite nice.I would spend a little more for a larger space next time but would definitely return to this property. Want to say thank you to the owners.

Nice studio sized room - perfect for a single or couple. A couple of blocks to the plaza, the fantastic La Luna restaurant & shopping. Loved our stay at La Posada de Taos!

This was a small but cozy studio room (bed and living area combined) which was perfect for my wife and I. The heat worked well (we experienced Taos's first major snowstorm of the forthcoming winter season) and the bathroom was perfectly acceptable. Mini frig. and small coffeemaker were great to have. Within walking distance of the Plaza. All in all, a wonderful visit!

We enjoyed a quick overnight stay in the cute room and loved the convenience of the walk to the historic plaza!

This apartment is a part of a gorgeous larger house. The property looks well maintained and was very clean. Area seemed super safe and Taos is wonderful!
