This is the oldest neighborhood in New Orleans outside of the French Quarter.

Stayed Dec 25, 2025Host was met us to let us in. He lives upstairs and was very available and very helpful. Location is in a quiet area, near City Park. We did not have a car and relied on public transit. Transportation time to French Quarter area took 30-45 mins. Bus stop was just a short walk away. The apt was spacious and comfortable. Loved the enclosed front porch!

Stayed Dec 18, 2025Vincent was very welcoming. It turned out we actually had a mutual friend in New Orleans. My wife was raised in New Orleans, and I met her in 1972. We raised our children there until 1986. ( so we aren't tourists). The location is exactly the part of the city we wanted to be. We loved the comfortable feel of the home that was built decades ago. we very much liked the feel of that part of New Orleans.

Stayed May 29, 2025This house was perfect for us! We walked to a couple of the neighborhood bars and restaurants. We enjoyed the screened in porch, neighbors were friendly, and we always felt safe. Vincent is very kind and easy going. We plan to stay here again when we return to NOLA.

Stayed May 15, 2025Vincent's space was much larger than expected. We felt bad as we had an evening flight that delayed and after getting our rental it was after 11pm when we checked in. Vincent greeted us and showed us around. A plus was even at that time of night; parking was available in front of the house. Close to everything we did and a quiet neighborhood. Would stay again!

Stayed Oct 31, 2024Gorgeous house, more space than I expected, clean throughout with a nice little side yard. Canal at end of block is a nice space to walk. Neighborhood is nice & felt safe at all hours. Owner had great communication & offered local food options. Excellent stay!
