Nice property with room for lots of people. Big bedrooms and a large bathroom. The beds were comfortable. There is a pool and sauna to use for the guests. Easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. Everything is in walking distance. Nice Mountain Views and very friendly cows right outside the kitchen window. We enjoyed our stay.

Just outside the house you have the most beautiful views that Austria can offer in the spring. Green meadows, waterfalls, majestic mountains with snow on top and in our case sun and blue skies. The space felt much like home with toys for kids to play with and plenty of space inside and outside. The owner was open and friendly and offered good tips for sightseeing in the Abtenau area.

As a couple with two (nearly) adult sons, we rented the whole appartement consisting of a master bedroom (incl shower and tiny cupboard kitchen) and the real appartement with two bedrooms, one bathroom (shower in bath), washing machine, dryer, living room and open kitchen and a terrace/lawn. Supermarkets are very close by, daily fresh bread from a bakery is a 10 min walk (Bäckerei Hauser recommended). The swimming pool, gym and sauna are available for private use from 11:00 to 20:00, except Fridays (because of the cleaning). Before 11:00 the owners enjoy the facilities themselves.

Great location, comfortable and clean flat, super kitchen and, of course, the pool made this a wonderful place to spend a week's holiday. Would recommend to anyone and will hopefully be back soon

Angela is a great host. We enjoyed our whole week in Abtenau. Fortunately we had sunny weather every day… It was a pitty the television and DVD player did not work. We loved the fresh vegetables from the greenhouse. In summertime we would advise a family with kids to rent the villa!!

We would definitely recommend this apartment in Abtenau. It is very spacious with a large covered terrace and garden. We barbecued nearly every night but the kitchen is also fully equipped. The apartment also has private use of a small pool and sauna. The area is great for walking and we all loved the summer toboggan run and mini golf. The Lammerklamm (gorge) is definitely worth a visit. The owners live on site and are available for any help or questions if needed.

This place is great and the location is gorgeous. Salzburg is easy to get to as is Hallstatt and the mountains which is what we wanted to see. The beds are comfortable and the back yard is great. Torge is great and gave us some great local knowledge that was very helpful including an incredible restaurant half way up the mountain. This place was better than advertised.

Perfect for family of five. Property was great. Using the pool after a long day was nice. Very nice town too. Grocery stores were close for quick access. Restaurants in town were centrally located for lots of selections. Great location for multiple day trips to the ice cave, salts mines, castles, and of course Salzburg. The slide ride down the mountain was a big hit with my teenage girls

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday at this beautiful villa. Everything has been well thought out for both comfort and convenience, it was spotlessly clean and has everything you need to enjoy a holiday. The location is excellent because it is located just on the edge of Abtenau, giving the best of both worlds, a supermarket that you can walk to, and beautiful forests and walks that are but a few steps from the house. We made full use of the Salzburgerlandcard to visit many cable cars, museums, and outdoor activities - with good road connections it is possible to be in Salzburg in thirty minutes. The highlight of the accommodation is the beautiful indoor pool, which enjoys spectacular views over the mountains. This, together with the fitness area and sauna, can be enjoyed whatever the weather. With a few steps up from the main hall, the pool couldn't be easier to access, meaning you can enjoy a relaxing longer visit and or just a quick dip. Local facilities in Abtenau are very good, and better than in some other small Austrian towns we have visited. You will be able to get everything you need locally, even on foot, without the need to go further afield. Abtenau has both a Billa and a Spar for food shopping, with bakers and other shops in the central area. The local cable car and toboggan ride was great fun. Thursday evenings are an opportunity to buy a ticket for as many rides as you can, and this was enjoyed by all. The fact that we were able to come with our small dog to this property made it a very successful holiday. We are thankful to Torge and Angela for their help in making a wonderful stay.

We had a great time with Torge with our family of 7. My Wife, our 3 children (8, 6 and 4) and my wife's parent's stayed at the aparements in Abtenau. The location is perfect as it's a very short walk to town and abtneau is central and close to many things to do such as the mountain coasters, hikes in the postalms and salt mines and thermal spas. The property itself was wonderful and well equipped with a great indoor pool and sauna. thanks again!
