Stayed Feb 17, 2026Mary and Martin were most welcoming. The space is compact, but has virtually everything you need! There is a great private patio with a grill. We used the pool in the complex to swim laps and Mauna Kea Beach is within close driving distance.

Stayed Jan 7, 2026I loved everything about this perfect little studio! I couldnt' believe how well equipped it was for such a compact space. It had everything I needed and more - and the beach gear was such an awesome bonus and so helpful. Mary and Martin are lovely and their directions and photographs for getting to and into the property were so helpful. The location is close to everything you could need for your stay and within 30 minutes max of most of the great beaches on the west side of the island. I will definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Stayed Dec 21, 2025Mary & Martin are amazing hosts, and the studio is absolutely perfect. The location is in a quiet neighborhood, close to Waikoloa necessities like a grocery store and several restaurants. It’s the perfect home base for exploring the island and a lovely retreat to cook a meal, and relax after a busy day. The kitchen has everything needed to make simple breakfast, pack picnic lunches or make a quick dinner on the bbq. The beach items were a huge bonus. Immaculate, everything is well kept and made us feel welcome. Mahalo & hope to see you at soon.

Stayed Oct 28, 2025I was impressed with all that the studio had and how “big” it felt. The bed was comfortable. The shower was wonderful. The small private lanai really added to the experience. The studio had all that I needed and more. The host was super at providing directions (complete with photos). The treats provided were a great touch. The hosts were friendly and it was just a great place to stay. I would definitely chose to return to their studio!

Stayed Apr 6, 2025This spot was such a good find. We are out at sunrise and back for siesta then out for sunset, mostly eat out (although this has the basics for cooking). Bed was super comfy, good pressure in shower and AC made it so comfy. Quiet neighborhood, super great host and easy breezy stay. We tried the pool on a windy day and its great! Pickleball too. We will be back. Mahalo to our hosts!

Stayed Jan 21, 2025My wife and I stayed here in late January and were very happy we did. There were no reviews when we booked, but saw Mary was listed as a 'Superhost' with another property she has so we went for it staying here. Mary was a great host! Very attentive for any questions and cared that we had everything we needed. About the studio: Know that it is small so it really does only accommodate up to 2 people. Even being small, it is well thought out and there is a private deck right outside where it was very pleasant to have breakfast in the sun (shaded in afternoon so it does not heat up in the studio!) There is a new propane BBQ with utensils on the deck that we used a number of nights. As for other appliances: There is a two-burner electric hot plate for pans and a toaster oven for small things to bake. A/C unit, Microwave, Keurig coffee maker and refrigerator with freezer. There is no dishwasher, but no problem as Mary provided a new sponge and dish soap with drying rack and drying mat on the combo washer/dryer. As I mentioned, it is a very well-thought out and functional studio. Just don't over-pack and your clothes will all fit in the baskets and small closet (just to the left of the door in the photo) where you can hang a few clothes (about ten or so hangers in it but you need to angle the clothes to close the door). We were very happy with the studio and our host. We were even surprised how easy it felt to get around the Island from here. Great place to stay!
