Great place to stay close to everything

It is a very nice place for a couple. I would definitely stay there again.

Alternate parking accomodations if streets were full.

We absolutely loved this home! It was beautiful, very clean and comfortable. They had everything we needed in the kitchen to cook and prepare meals at home. Plenty of towels for bath or beach. It was the perfect size for myself, my husband and our 5 year old - very nice queen size bed, with a futon mattress that can be made on the floor, as well as a very nice couch. We are looking forward to staying here again. -the only downside was the bath tub jets were having an electrical problem, so they would kick on randomly. Sometimes all night long, which was quite loud. Hopefully its fixed soon!

Joe was absolutely a great host!

The property description used the words Charming, Elegant, Luxury. It may have been at one time but now old and tired would more accurate. Some appliances did not work, the ancient keypad door lock was awkward to use, and the furniture could stand an upgrade. However, being able to walk to the beach and downtown made up for some of these shortcomings. All things considered, we had a positive experience at a reasonable price.

We enjoyed our month long stay in Joe’s apartment. The location couldn’t be better. We walked everywhere. Initial minor issues were quickly addressed & resolved. The shower was great. In situ washer & dryer was a huge plus. Upgrades to kitchen supplies & furnishings would be a welcome improvement but overall a very satisfying stay.

What a wonderful space! The location is perfect for walking to the beach, downtown to shops and restaurants. The apartment was even nicer than expected: tall ceilings, washer and dryer, comfortable living space, nice bathroom! The owner was friendly, helpful and clear communication. Would definitely book again and highly recommend!

It has an amazing location, quiet and private. We walked everywhere and enjoyed the most incredible beach walks and sunsets.

The unit was comfortable and in a great location. They had some nice little touches -- for example, tea and coffee. We had a minor problem, and the hose responded quickly and solved it with no fuss.

The location suited all our needs, met all expectations and was perfectly appointed. We appreciated the beach towels and chairs. We had family members staying in other VRBOs and ours was the BEST! Our son and d in l live in Cardiff-an easy walk to their place. We will be back! Thank you!Thank you!

The best location! Walking distance from lots of restaurant, bars, and the beach. We love staying here!

Not as expected. For starters, we arrived 20 mins after check-in and the place was still being cleaned. The A/C wasn’t working and rooms weren’t cooling off with the windows open. It was too hot to sleep in and we weren’t hearing back from the host. Once we heard back he said he wouldn’t have a remote for the A/C until after our visit. On top of that, there was an ant infestation throughout the kitchen and we couldn’t leave anything on the counters. When we addressed this issue, the host was dismissive. The only positive to this stay was the location.

Nice stay next to beach, restaurants, and shops.

I stayed here with my daughter and it was perfect. 2 blocks from the beach. 2 blocks from down town Encinitas. A short walk to everything we needed. Clean. Amazing tall ceilings. A tall person’s paradise.

Perfect location with everything in walking distance. The place was comfortable and had essentials like coffee, a coffee pot, chairs and towels for the beach. Great restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend this to anyone needing to stay in the area.

This Encinitas property was a great find. Everything was as described and it was a wonderful accommodation as respite from our remodel at home. Our host let us know he was very available as needed. What a great walkable neighborhood to the beach, coffee, restaurants etc. We are definitely planning a return!

Very well-appointed unit in a fantastic location. Just footsteps away from main strip of restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping in downtown Encinitas and then a few minute walk to a beautiful beach. Unit is perfect for a couple trying to get away for a quick trip in the area.

We enjoyed our stay. The beach and Moonlight Beach Park are just a short walk, as are restaurants and shops. Although we drove, the rail line station is also close by. The unit is comfortable and well appointed. We took advantage of the beach chairs, boogie boards, and the wagon to tote them. We were happy with our choice.
