Stayed May 1, 2024Staying at this property during my visit to Bavaria, Germany was a delightful experience! Choosing Augsburg as my headquarters turned out to be a great decision, thanks to its rich history and central location. Despite my spontaneous approach to planning, I found myself immersed in the vibrant atmosphere of the 3rd largest town in Germany, surrounded by centuries of fascinating stories. I wanted to stay in a place where I could easily take the car and go and visit any of the surrounding, historic Bavarian towns without it being a day trip away. This worked out perfectly! The apartment itself was, spacious, light, fresh and airy! The bathroom was small, but updated and functional. The water pressure was great, the light was sufficient and I didn't have an issue getting hot water for the shower. One of the highlights of the property was its prime location. Situated within walking distance of a grocery store, the old-town center, and captivating attractions like the Textile Museum, and the Fuggerei, it offered easy access to Augsburg's treasures. Although I missed out on the Puppenkiste show due to its Monday closure, I found solace in the nearby forest where the Augsburg Eiskanal provided a thrilling spectacle of Olympic canoeing prowess—a delightful diversion from the hustle and bustle.
