Caribbean-style apartment with pool in Punta Cana

Overall the stay for the price was GREAT. We stayed one night. The host was VERY helpful & provided transportation. Please ask beforehand about transportation if you need it. My only issue was the stove did not work properly. The TV in Netflix is only in Spanish. Everything else was pretty good. Supermarket is very close. Food is very close. Restaurants are very close. The area was very convenient and safe. I wouldn’t stay there more than two nights. But overall, I give it a 8 out of 10

Very tiny 1 bedroom apartment. Only good for a single person or a couple. Not near the beach as specified. If you are Spanish speaking you are fine as few people speak English. Mostly locals live /rent there. Pool was not clean. Dog across the hall barked all night long as owner was not home to let him out. I had many sleepless nights. I complained, but nothing was done about it. Our Netflix expired, I contacted the host Monday, sent message 4 times and took screen shot of requirement. He finally messaged back Friday. At that point a friend gave us his password. There was nothing else on tv just Netflix. You need to Uber everywhere. Little communication with the host. He didnt even come the last day of departure and we were there for 5 weeks! The area is not a tourist destination. First time using Vrbo and extremely disappointed. This should NOT be posted as a vacation spot. Just a note: I have always posted positive reviews, but I guess there is always a first time.

Close to a lot of places (close to downtown) Will make you feel like home 😚

My friend and I stayed 4 nights here in December. We absolutely loved it. The owners were so good with communication and made the entire process stress free. They even offer rides to and from the airport for a very reasonable price, just be sure to let them know ahead of time! The check in process is very easy which is sooo wonderful. As far as the condo itself goes- amazing! Cleanliness is 10/10, bed is very comfortable, A/C is amazing, and a very safe location. The location is convenient - about a 5 min walk from a market that has all necessities, pizza hut, teriyaki restaurant, and other food spots. Highly, highly recommend!
