Stayed Dec 26, 2024Our cash and belongings were stolen here, while the host seemed unconcerned. I am currently awaiting help from VRBO but not sure that will happen. I was charged a much higher amount (approximately 200) than what was indicated on the booking. Despite requesting a detailed breakdown of the cost from the host via WhatsApp and VRBO message, I never received it. I ended up paying the higher cost, given that it was getting late and the individual at check-in was unaware of the details and advised me to message the host, which I did, but without resolution. Over a week later, this request for clarification has not been addressed by the owner/host.Prospective guests should be cautious due to the unpredictable (deceptive) payment processes and lack of responsive support, especially in emergencies. Consider these factors carefully before making a reservation. Based on our experience, I would vigorously recommend avoiding this property and host. If you insist on this property, finalize all payments prior to arrival, and prepare a backup plan, in the event that host does not agree to the previously arranged payments.
