Ca' Nal Apartments, Corte Grimani Inn - SANDOLO

The apartment was beautiful and the proprietor was very hospitable. The stairs within the building were tight and a little tricky with larger bags and the unit is up several floors. However, without bags in tow, usual journeys were not an issue. The apartment is located in a great place within Venice, within a short walk of most major attractions and the vaporetto system is nearby as well.

Our family loved this property in Venice. It is exactly as pictured-actually better. Communication with the owner was excellent and check in was easy. The owners representative, Mr Bagdash was very helpful and informative. He met us at the water taxi drop off and guided us the short distance to the property. His friendly smile was a warm welcome and once in the apartment he gave a quick explanation of how to operate everything and was on his way. My family highly recommends this rental and hope to return some day.

The host from this rental was above and beyond when assisting us with checkin. We had issues with the private taxi I had reserved and didn't get to Rialto till 2 hrs past our predicted time. She stayed in contact and then was so gracious to meet us at Taxi drop off and guide us to the apartment. We were so worn out from travel from U.S. that this truly made a big difference for us. Now for the apartment, it was perfect well stocked and extremly clean with nice large kitchen table. There was 6 adults in our party. We were all very comfortable and the beds were comfy as well. Good pillows and linens. If you rent a private taxi I would suggest asking to be taken to Splendid Hotel that is less than a block from apartment. Has a small washing machine that worked great. A drying rack is in the apartment for drying your cloths. The only draw back for this rental is there are 63 steps to get to it. So I took a break between flights and this 67 yr old lazy woman made it to door. Now the younger adults in the family used it as a stair master to keep up on their workouts. Family of 6 with ski gear on tow. Luggage came late and Alberta made sure it got into the building. Stairs and steep and real..be forewarned. Also in the middle of the bustle which is great if that’s what you want. Quiet at night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful apartment in the center of everything in Venice. There are loads of shops and restaurants nearby, and the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s Square are just a few minutes’ walk. The apartment is well furnished and spotlessly clean. Alberta was wonderful and met us at a nearby water taxi dock, then escorted us to the apartment and gave us a very thorough briefing. We couldn’t have been happier with the accommodations. The only proviso would be for people with mobility issues. The apartment is located up a few flights of stairs, and the bedroom with the ensuite bath requires climbing some narrow, steep stairs. We had no problem with it at all, but something to think about depending on your mobility.

GREAT location, central to everywhere we wanted to visit. With three bedrooms (with splitable beds), the layout was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 3 kids. AC worked great in all rooms. Lovely views from the 3rd floor and the stairs weren't terrible - just need to pack light! Alberta was wonderfully accommodating to our slightly early check-in and slightly late check out (we were able to meet her and store our bags while cleaners were there). We would stay there again!

Place was very nice and clean, Alberta met us right at our water taxi and walked us to the apartment. Steps were tough but it worked. The location was perfect and central to everything we wanted to see and do. Not really much canal view unless you hung out the window. The second bathroom has no storage or counter and is very tiny, that was only negative

Great place to stay in the centre of Venice. Easy to find from Rialto Bridge and close to St Marks Square. Highly recommend

We totally loved this spacious, immaculate , 3 bedroom apartment with our 3 granddaughters! It has old Venetian charm with its high ceilings, beautiful wooden beams and antiques. If you are looking for an apartment with views of gondolas on the canal, shops and restaurants all around, a 3 min walk to St. Mark’s Square and the famous Rialto Bridge, don’t look any further, this is your place to stay! Alberta was a gracious host. She met us as we arrived and took us to the apartment explaining so much about the area. This property helped make our visit to Venice spectacular!! And yes, it’s the apartment on the top floor, but the steps set the mood of the style, plus we made it fun and great exercise!
