Stayed Aug 31, 2025The apartment and its location were generally fine, but unfortunately, the check-in experience was very disappointing. The apartment wasn’t ready at the agreed check-in time, and we were left waiting for over an hour while it was only roughly cleaned. While the host did apologize, they didn’t seem particularly concerned and offered no real solution, which was frustrating after a long journey to Venice.To make matters worse, the cleaner arrived smoking, entered the apartment while still smoking, and even disposed of the cigarette in the kitchen sink. When we finally got inside, the apartment was not properly cleaned—there was black mould in the shower, and we ended up having to clean much of the place ourselves.Despite these issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Venice. However, we would not stay in this apartment again and, unfortunately, cannot recommend it to others.
