Stayed Jun 27, 2016We spent a nice week in Dominique's beautiful, little apartment and enjoyed it very much. The rooms are bright and sunlit, the interior tastefully chosen and well equipped. Since we were there early (before the holidays started) our building complex was very quiet and not many people around. Nevertheless, the house and its surroundings were all clean and well maintained. We could see and smell the sea from the balcony and just had to cross the roads to be down at the beach. Rothéneuf has not only one lovely little beach and it's much more private and quiet than the beaches in St. Malo. Though the sea was mostly too rough to let the kids play alone in the water (6 & 7 years), they had big fun jumping the waves, searching shells, watching the boats and playing. The village center itself is only a little (3 - 5 minutes) walk away, with sweet shops, a lovely restaurant and hospitable villagers. In the end, the week was over much too fast and we all agreed that we'd return some time.
