We enjoyed our stay in Saint Malo and found the area around the apartment very peaceful and pleasant. Plenty of good walks to the beach which we enjoyed and some nice eating places close by. Our reason for giving 4 stars is a personal one and no criticism of the apartment or the owners which was excellent, but we are an elderly couple and we found the stairs up to the apartment and then up to the attic bedroom a bit of a challenge, but we are to blame for not checking this out when booking. everything else was good.
