Stayed Sep 3, 2025The apartment studio has everything you need for your stay and comfort and it is very clean. Communication with the host Andreas was very easy and he was very responsive to any questions. The view from the balcony of the Eiger is breathtaking, we couldn't get enough of it. You can walk down to the center of Grindelwald in about 15 minutes from the apartment. It's a steep walk back to the apartment but there is a bus that will take you to Terassenweg that will stop in front of the Chalet. We bought the Jungfrau travel pass, it's very convenient and most gondolas and trains are included. The connections for busses, trains, and gondolas are very easy. We loved spending time in Grindelwald and had a wonderful and amazing time. The mountains are absolutely breathtaking. We definetly would stay at the chalet again. Gaby and Mike

Stayed Jul 1, 2025This apartment was just right for our needs. We could cook and relax there and the location was perfect. We ate out on the balcony most days and the view was wonderful! It was easy to access all the cable cars and trails we wanted to do while in Grindelwald. It’s good to note that Terassenweg is quite high, which is no problem if you have a car. We went to Grindelwald by train and the first evening it took some time and energy to walk up there from the village with our suitcase. However, it was no problem after that as we realised there is a regular bus, no 122, ( every half hour during the day) which leaves from just outside the apartment and takes you to the station. It takes about 15 - 20 minutes, and when you have a guest card, which you can fill in when you get into the apartment, local bus trips are free of charge. We would definitely recommend this accommodation!
