Stayed Jun 23, 2025One of the most amazing stays we ever had! The chalet is in a quiet area of Grindelwald, away from the tourist crowd. It is a 20-minute walk from the train station, slightly uphill. Easy enough, but there is also a bus stop right in front of the chalet. The apartment is spacious, beautiful, and very comfortable. The view from the terrace is heavenly. It will make you never want to leave. A fabulous place to relax and recharge. The owner, Daniela, lives upstairs and is super easy to communicate with. The washing machine is in her space, and she did our laundry. She has a small store in the same building with a good choice of food items and basic supplies. There are several cats, a very friendly Bernese Mountain Dog, and a chicken coop on the property, which added to our children's excitement. Overall, an awesome experience. We would come back in a heartbeat!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Sehr schöne Wohnung. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Eigentümerin. Quartierladen im Haus, was hervorragend ist. Wanderwege und Ortsbus vor dem Haus. Wunderschöne Sicht. Einzig; zwei Bratpfannen von drei waren in schlechtem Zustand und der Dampfabzug stellte manchmal einfach aus... sonst alles perfekt. TOP! Wir kommen wieder!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Uns hat der Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung ist gross, bietet zwei Bade- und drei Schlafzimmer. Dazu eine Top ausgestattete Küche. Neben der Wohnung befindet sich ein kleiner Laden der Besitzerin, wo man das wichtigste für den täglichen Bedarf einkaufen kann.Zudem befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle direkt vor der Wohnung. Wir haben die Wohnung sehr sauber angetroffen und eine nette Vermieterin kennengelernt. Der direkte Blick auf das Bergpanorama war phantastisch!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I have stayed here three times. It is a very well equipped apartment with everything you need in the kitchen. Daniella is a great hostess. She has a small store on the front of the house making it great to get a few groceries for self catering. It is conveniently located so you can walk into Grindelwald. There is a bus that stops in front of the house so you do have other transportation. Everything is on one level so it works well for people that have a walking problem. The bedrooms are nice sizes. There are so many places to see close by or you can go by train out of Grindelwald. I always look forward to staying in this wonderful apartment.
