Stayed Jan 20, 2026The host was responsive, the price is reasonable, and the location in Old City meant that walking wherever I needed to go was easy. That said, the photographs do not accurately represent the condition of the apartment; it's badly worn, with damage to lots of surfaces. There's also an air conditioning unit (or something?) on the roof that makes the top floor bedroom feel a bit like a garage door is repeatedly opening during the night.

Stayed Dec 31, 2025Brittani is a wonderful host! Very, very responsive to all questions. Genuinely cares about her guests! Property is located in Old City, my absolute favorite part of Philly. Can’t go wrong staying here!

Stayed Nov 5, 2025This is a good place to stay if you're just going to stay in the property to sleep, otherwise my rating would be a 3.5. Check in was difficult because this property is located over a restaurant. When the address was shared this was not specified and we ended up asking the host of the restaurant if we were in the right place. We subsequently struggled to follow the directions to open the lock box as the images don't match the actual box. This property is comprised of two rooms, one with a single bed and a another with two beds. The first room had a lot of damages. There were holes in the wall from decor being removed. The window sill by the bed had a gash in it which makes it feel unsafe and wonder what happened there. There was also a weird smudge on the wall. There was also a small hole from the front door hitting the wall. Because the unit is so small, it can fit about three people for comfortable rest. There is only seating for two in the kitchen.

Stayed Nov 16, 2025The host communicated promptly when messaged. But the room was in bad shape. Upon walking in there was a hole behind the door, major scrape marks on wall by table the corner at the step was busted out. When entering lower bedroom there is a softspot in the floor, a hole in the wall at window sill, the closet door was broken, there multiple holes where puctures were hung. Going upstairs found more wall damage. Overall was not what we would expect from a rental. When i contacted them upon arrival to note our disappointment they said that it doesnt affect the usability of the room. (Soft spot/hole in floor) im fairly positive it affects how my 2 little kids can move around because i dont want them near holes in the walls or floor. Most of these issues are easily rectified with some mud and paint and a couple hours to dry well within turn around time

Stayed Sep 21, 2025Location was great. A lot of stairs to get up to the apartment. Had some wear and tear from previous rentals. No living area, just kitchen and bedrooms with a bathroom. Suited our needs, as we weren’t in the apartment very much.

Stayed Oct 10, 2025The very best thing about this place is location. It is a perfect place to stay to do all the Old City Philadelphia things you want to do on foot. That’s a huge bonus. But, the apartment itself is rundown. There are holes in the wall, a hole in the windowsill, a soft spot in the floor with a hole. The air conditioning vent in the upstairs room looks like it could fall out. The closet door in one room is half broken off, the curtain rods are extended too far and bent. Half the sheets in the upstairs room smelled mildewed as if they’d been left in the washer too long but put on the bed anyway - we had to take them off and put them in the closet for the smell. The owners state that they have two apartments adjacent to each other, and it seems like the internet is split between them both because the internet didn’t work well. There is no place to hang out except in beds and two seats at a small table in the kitchen - yet the house can sleep six. We had to eat standing up. To be fair, they did say in check out that if we were leaving anything other than a 5-star review we should reach out so they could make it right. We didn’t reach out because we wanted to leave an honest review (we wouldn’t have stayed here if someone had left an honest review), and we felt like these were inherent things to the apartment that couldn’t have been fixed. If you are just looking for a great location to crash, sure this might be your place. But it wasn’t the place for us. We left early.
