B.H. McCarty House, a spacious Local Historic Landmark in Old Town Fort Collins

Such a lovely house, and a great location for walking to restaurants, book stores, local theaters, and more. The Parlour was a quiet spot for meditation or yoga, and for people-watching in front of the library across the street. Many thanks to Griffin for getting the gas fireplace up and running. We enjoyed meeting Griffin, Carley, and Wayne. Everyone was so hospitable.

We stayed at B.H. McCarty House over Christmas and it was a wonderful experience. The highlights include the comfy beds, the location near Old Town with great shops and restaurants all decorated for the holiday, and the fully equipped kitchen with everything we needed to cook a Christmas dinner. Griffin was a very communicative and helpful host. He even put up a Christmas tree for us. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a nice 4-night stay here during CSU family weekend. Walkable to Old Town and CSU. Very clean with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable rooms. Convenient off street parking. Griffin was really welcoming and helpful upon our arrival.

We had a wonderful time at the McCarty House. Griffin Carpenter was a welcoming host. A minor issue occurred with a lavatory, and Griffin repaired it. The parking was private area with a locked gate (this added a feeling of security.The rooms were clean, kitchen was stocked with non-perishable tasty foods. You could spend the first night in a comfortable kingsize bed. Then, wake up in the morning enjoy a cup of coffee & decide your next plan for Fort Collins.The laundry room in the basement is also available for any clothing issues.I would highly recommend staying at the B.H. McCarty House.

Great home, location, hosts! Everything was terrific - access to front and back doors, parking, etc. Nicely renovated baths and kitchen in an older, classic home.Would recommend and return!

The house is in easy walking distance to Old Town & several coffee shops. Nice quiet neighborhood. The library was across from the house. There was a nice park there for younger children. Beautiful new kitchen and it is fully stocked with everything you need. Plenty of board games. We enjoyed our stay. It was super easy to communicate with the host. I would stay there again.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The location of this property is perfect; within walking distance of the charming Old Town area of Fort Collins yet in a quiet neighborhood. Easy walking to shops and restaurants. The house is fantastic. Full kitchen with everything needed to make any meal; well-equipped; plenty of storage. The house is historic and decorated accordingly. The hosts include information about the house itself as well as plenty of information about fun things to do in the area. The hosts were very accessible and helpful. Good WiFi. There is enclosed safe parking in back of the house, so no worries about parking on busy streets.

Wonderful location with plenty of space. Unit was well maintained with very nice amenities. We would stay there again when we return to town.

Stayed here with 3 adult kids and had a great time. Ample space. Really appreciated the washer dryer and the well stocked kitchen.

My daughters, son-in-law and two young grandchildren stayed in the property for four nights while attending a wedding event in Fort Collins. The place was perfect. We could not have beat the location making trips to Old Town and College Street on foot with the kids on scotters or in the stroller. And it is right across the street from a great library and a fun outdoor park that the kids loved. The kitchen was wonderfully outfitted and we cooked several meals there that were enjoyed around the large kitchen table. The hosts had thoughfully stocked the frig with a few beverages and there was a basket of snacks that hit the spot. We loved the offstreet parking. Will definitely stay there again as we have kids and grandkids in the City.

Host Griffin and Carley went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Griffin completely overhauled the gas grill so we could use it for a Mother’s Day dinner with family. The house is clean and very well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of room to host family yet cozy when it was just the two of us. Location is convenient to so much. Walking distance to Old Town shops and restaurants. There is a Target and grocery store close by. We will definitely stay here again.

House was extremely clean and organized. Kitchen is well stocked with a variety of cooking utensils and appliances. Bathrooms had plenty of towels. Bedrooms had clean sheets and extra blankets and pillows. Hosts are very helpful and friendly!!

This house was very quaint with a giant, fully-stocked kitchen and lots of charming details. Some updates to finishes and furniture could be made, but our family felt very cozy and welcome in this cute house that’s super close to Old Town!

The house was a wonderful old house in an excellent part of Fort Collins. Close enough to downtown to walk but very quiet and peaceful. The home was well appointed and the host had every thing you could think of at your disposal at the property. Would definitely recommend this property.

Great location, short walk to shops and restaurants in Old Town. Very well restored Victorian, the front porch was enjoyed and a real plus. The large kitchen was well equiped and the drinks/snacks were appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

The property was in a great location in old town. The house was beautiful both inside and out with what looked like a brand new kitchen with everything we needed and more. The bedrooms and baths were all also very nice and comfortable. The host was quick to respond to our questions and super helpful.

We were in town for a family wedding and a little vacationing. This house is lovely, historic, and walking distance to Old Towne shopping/eating district. We walked to many destinations including a local farmers market and a walk along the Poudre River. The house has a great kitchen set up which allowed for some meals “in” as well as an iron/ironing board, which we were thankful to have. Comfortable furniture and a table for 6 + island. There is so much to do in Ft. Collins and I want to go back! We would definitely stay again and enjoyed a nice place to spend our time away.
