The apartment is in a very quiet area except for some neighbors dogs sometimes barking. The room is around 200 sq. feet but it has everything that you need. Bring your own soap though. It was an addition to the main house therefore, it is very separate and private. The only negative that I can state is that the owner requested that we make up our own bed when we arrived. The couch/sofa is essentially the bed because there is no room for both bed and a sofa. It made for a comfortable bed once it was put together. The town is very sleepy with most restaurants not being open unless you want to overpay for the 3 that we found opened. I recommend that you go to the neighboring towns for your variety of restaurants. There is a castle in the town but it was closed for renovations when we were there. Lidia was very friendly and accommodating. She doesn't speak English but does speak a little bit of French. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet and reasonably priced apartment.

Muchas gracias, LIDIA!! We spent 10 days here in a quite and peaceful neighborhoud near calonge. The room is very clean, comfortable and cosy. There is a bath ensuite and a cooler. Also you can find dishes - its more like an apartement than a room. You have an own terrace and a great view to the valley. The pictures are very realistic. Our host, Lidia, is a very very helpfully, friendly person. We can really recommend this accommodation! Calonge is a little authentic village off the beaten track. by car its only 4 minutes afar. per pedes about 10 minutes to walk. to the beautiful beach Platja de Castell its ca. 15 minutes by car. Thats the only virgin beach of the costa brava.. MERCI, LIDIA! accueil très sympartique des propriétaires.
