Beautiful self contained flat in New Town, Stockbridge. Great location!

An excellent location for a stay in Edinburgh. Close enough to local cafes and restaurants. Property was immaculate, well equipped and very clean throughout. Good communication from the host throughout. Thank you.

Excellent property, Dana let us leave our luggage early on the day we arrived which was a real bonus. Easy walk into town, lots of eating places nearby, the Pantry just round the corner was ideal for breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Great stay! Enough room for the family and really appreciated the second half bath. Quiet and comfortable, and we very much appreciated the thoughtful touches of juice/milk/cookies upon arrival! The location was well within walking distance of all the sights we went to visit. Our host was attentive and made sure our stay was perfect!

It was all around an excellent experience! I’d give it 10 stars if I could!

Comfy and great location

Historic property was beautiful and unique. With the uniqueness there are some sacrifices like no plugs in bathrooms. Hair styling would need to be done in another room but no mirror in the twin bedroom for the task. Two toilets were amazing but both are located upstairs. Despite those little intricacies, wonderful spot to stay. It was wonderfully decorated, very homey and welcoming. Excellent location for all the sights. Staples like spices, cooking oil, and tea provided in tiny kitchen which was well set up. Lower bedroom would benefit from dehumidifier due to age related stone building scents to benefit those with scent-sitivities. Listing states dryer however there is No electric dryer for clothing. A drying rack is provided and the washing machine had quick wash setting which was great when other Euro models take hours! Quiet neighbors. Also you have to scroll to the bottom of the description to see available parking is not free. We lucked out and arrived on the weekend so Saturday and Sunday was no charge but make note: parking costs 6 per hour and you had to move your car every 4 hours. That was the only stressor that turned out well in the end which isn’t the hosts issue but it would be nice if a parking pass could be included for the ultimate perfect stay.

Received a parking ticket right outside on the curb for 100 pound. Listing said parking was included. Also ran out of coffee after 1 morning, recommend stocking up. Great location but didn’t think the value was there for the price paid.

Large, spacious with all the amenities needed for cooking. Comfortable beds and a beautiful garden. Very clean! Dana is delightful.

This flat was a great choice for our family of four. The location was perfect -- close to everything, but quiet in the evenings to relax. Incredibly clean upon arrival, the host provided helpful information to make our stay comfortable. Could not have asked for anything more!

We loved our stay in Stockbridge! Such a great central location to see everything but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Dana’s place was very comfortable and spacious. It’s obvious that much love and care went into making this a special home away from home. We were sad to leave and hope to one day return and stay at Dana’s place again!
