Stayed Jun 29, 2025The house was very charming and was stocked with the essentials.I was an aware at booking that there was an upstairs tenant. They had a small child (maybe infant) that we could hear crying during the night. My husband was working and had to get up early (4 a.m) so that was rough. We could also smell everything the upstairs family was cooking. There was a problem with the washing machine which I was made aware of prior to checking in. Thomas was very kind and communicated everything very well as far as scheduling a plumber etc with me. He also let me know he was going to be out of cell range one day and gave me a back up number. He was a wonderful host. We are going to be frequenting Springfield often over the next several months, for shorter stays we would probably stay here again. Five nights was a bit too long with the upstairs tenants. I only mention these things because if you are looking for quiet (or have sensory/smell issues like my husband) you might want to be aware of the upstairs tenant.
