Daphne was there to greet us and introduce us to the apartment which is attached to her house. As the listing describes, it is small but well equipped. We made a late decision to attend Hay Festival for a few days and used this as our base. It's an easy drive to Hay. The rating reflects our feeling that the apartment is tired and would benefit from a few upgrades, e.g., new pillows, a touch of paint, maybe new window coverings, updated local information. We couldn't connect to the WiFi but didn't ask about it because it wasn't that important to us. It was adequate for our needs and we appreciated the Welsh cakes and chocolate bars.

A nice small, budget freindly stay. The accommodation is perfect for couples who have a short stay.
