Beach Front 1-bedroom apartment with WiFi, AC in fantastic Punta Rucia

We booked for 2 nights for this stay and ended up having to leave the very next morning. This apartment is advertised very nicely, but it is not equipped/functional. Our first experience was taking a shower that night- the shower drain was clogged and we had to rush taking a shower. We reported this to the host and he said that someone was going to look into that the next day (this was not supposed to happen if the property is inspected prior to ).There was no electricity all night, mosquitos were eating us alive, and when we wanted to take a shower and brush our teeth in the morning, there was no water. Summary: we did not sleep at all! Also there was loud music until midnight and this was not noted on the description of this place. They charge as if you are going to have a good stay (A/C, WiFi, etc) but none of that was our experience. We contacted the host and his response was there is no electricity in the city well, if there is no electricity in the city, please, do not advertise A/C, WiFi, etc- unless you have a generator because the clients that come to you are expecting a good stay based on what is posted. In regards to lighting, we were told that the only source of light was the small nightstand lamp. We asked the host to provide us with 2 light bulbs (there were 2 sconces with no light bulbs) and we were declined the light bulbs. We also inquired for a refund and the host would not talk with us and VrBO is not taking responsibility for this hosts misleading post.
