Stayed Jul 24, 2025The property was lovely and very peaceful. Unfortunately we had a problem with ants in the kitchen, there is a small hole on the window frame which is where they appear to be coming in. Also, we believe that there is a mouse in the main bedroom, we could hear him running across the carpet although could not see any droppings, we think it is under the bed.

Stayed Mar 29, 2025We really enjoyed our cottage stay; plenty of room, clean and comfy beds, big dining space and a lovely porch to sit on with a cup of coffee and a book. The location was excellent. The only issue was the trail of ants entering the kitchen area.

Both rooms have their own bathroom with plenty of room. The kitchen well stocked with all necessities (Sharp knives ; winner)Minor improvement point is I would prefer a gas barbecue, the electric one couldn’t run a stable temperature. Otherwise this place has everything you need for an enjoyable stay.
