Stayed Jun 20, 2025We absolutely loved our stay at Kangaroo Lodge! Upon arrival, we were greeted by a delightful welcoming committee, a family of kangaroos, which set the tone for a magical getaway. The house itself is spectacular: warm, spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The fireplace (with a generous supply of wood) kept us cozy, and the hot tub was a highlight, perfect for unwinding while watching the sunset.We especially appreciated the in-floor heating in the ensuite and bathrooms, which added a real touch of luxury. The location is ideal too, with a scenic 30-minute walk into Bright town centre that made for great daily exercise.Highly recommend, this place is a true gem!

Stayed Feb 2, 2025We had an amazing stay at Kangaroo Lodge. The house was very comfortable, and the views were amazing.The only downfall was that it was a very hot week, and the house only had fans in the upstairs bedrooms. Luckily, at night, it cooled down which made it more comfortable for sleeping.

Stayed Feb 25, 2021We had an amazing time away in this fabulous house with the most spectacular views. Rooms and bathrooms were lovely and the couches were super comfortable. The only downer for us was that were traveling in a mini bus and the driveway was very daunting as it is extremely steep and the mini bus wheels kept losing traction on the gravel.

Stayed Mar 22, 2019This property is amazing from the outside and even more amazing on the inside. Spacious bedrooms, living areas, and wonderful outdoor areas. It was the cleanest place we have ever stayed, minimal inside but just perfect. The wildlife was beyond words and with just a short trip to town it offers everything you could hope for. Stayed Dec 31, 1969This large 4 bedroom house was perfect for a family get together. We enjoyed everything about the house, including the furnishings, the massive living space, being tucked away from neighbours, and the kangaroos that visited morning and evening.
