The casita is very cozy, quaint, functional and quiet. Due to the thick adobe walls, it stays cool in the summer & warm in the winter.
Our comfortable and convenient casita has all new appliances, a heater/refrigerated air combo, hard wood floors, tiled floors in both kitchen and bathroom. It has on demand hot water, a 4 burner electric stove/oven and full refrigerator.

Several movies have been shot in its location adding to its allure, history and colorful past! The seasonal beauty of New Mexico as well as the stunning backdrop of the Sandia Mountains await you in this cozy adobe casita, offering you an authentic taste of the Land of Enchantment.
The casita was perfect for our 3 night stay. Charming and cozy.
This was perfect for my husband and me. Quick 10 minute drive to Balloon Festiva. Bed comfy, full kitchen. Clean. Quiet. Lots of snacks and water in fridge. Lots of room for us. At least 2 great restaurants we walked to from the location. Definitely would come back.
The property is really bad: we left a day earlier than booked: Specifically: window next to bed broken and taped up, bed so hard it caused discomfort, same for pillows, furniture really old and falling apart, air conditioning controller does not work, shower needs a flex head, floor mats are disgusting, bed cover disgusting, window coverings old and filthy, outside is disgusting and dirty. This is as bad as it gets!!!
Property was just perfect for 2 people. Easy come and go and quiet. Felt very safe. Just down the road from the balloon fest.
We had a great time in the Albuquerque area for the Balloon Fiesta and Annular Solar Eclipse! This cute casita was perfect for my husband and I! Fawn sent great instructions for checking in and was very responsive to our request to check out a little later, which allowed us some time to rest after an early morning going to the Balloon Fiesta! There were some nice snacks waiting for us in the casita, which were very much appreciated during our car rides around the area. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends and I would stay again.
Enjoy the place and location
Easy to get to. Just north of Albuquerque. Cute little town. The casita was just fine for the 3 nights I was in town. Clean, neat, everything I needed was there. I will stay again, next visit.
We were impressed by the well supplied kitchen and the extensive toiletries in the bathroom. I forgot my razor and sure enough there were two fresh ones!
Perfect for my needs.
I am in Albuquerque often, and I stay here every chance I get. It is so lovely, quiet and private. All the amenities that I need. The host is so nice and gracious. I could not ask for a better place to stay.
We stayed in the casita for four nights. We never had any issues during our stay. The casita was well equipped for our needs.
This casita was a good size for 2 people, however it lacked in the kind of esthetics you want went traveling i.e. the rich flavor of the culture. Instead we got a vibe of a hodgepodge of furniture (no comfortable chair for reading ) Bedding, linens and accessories were not at all quality goods. Disappointing for such a potentially lovely casita.
enjoyed the location
The owner is so nice and accommodating. The property is nice, quiet, and secluded. It's the perfect place to stay instead of a noisy hotel.
Grocery was a handy walk. Good restaurant was a handy walk. Place was well enough and simply appointed. Could use some soft seating - but it just wasn’t a big deal. One hiccup with the front door getting jammed, but a quick text and it was handled. With a sense of humor by all.
We stayed at this property as we were preparing for a move to our new home. We stayed for 6 weeks and it was perfect for what we needed. The property is nice & Fawn is awesome!
This stay was transitional for us before moving to our new place. We stayed for 6 weeks and it was awesome and what we needed! Fawn is great and the Casita was so cute!!
