Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was a great find for us and we enjoyed every single moment of our stay in Lampertheim. Mariette and Andre were amazing hosts, being in the background unless needed and able to provide advice and information for everything from local walks and festivals to gathering translated information for us to explore. The accomodation is, in our opinion 5* with everything you need with a very modern and tasteful design in the middle of the ancient buildings of Lampertheim. We experienced high temperatures (30deg) and the rooms were comfortable and we spent a great deal of our time out on the well appointed balcony. The accomodation is ideally located for heading into Strasbourg, 15min drive or bus, and equally perfect for exploring Alsace the fabulous wines or a journey across the border into Germany and th Black Forest. Recommend the Tarte Flambé from the artisan pizza the village,

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Superb apartment, well equipped and very comfortable. Andre & Mariette were wonderful hosts, attentive and extremely helpful. Lampertheim is a lovely village with 3 restaurants, 2 boulangeries and a takeaway pizzeria. There are frequent buses into Strasbourg which was just perfect. The Alsace wine route has many beautiful villages to explore. Excellent holiday!
