Very comfortable bed and good price for a stay in a good area for visiting NOLA.

I stayed at this property for three months and it was the best experience! It is such a cute place and way more spacious than it even looks online and gives you an authentic New Orleans feel. I love the Bywater area in New Orleans and this property was the perfect location. Very conveniently located by several local restaurants and shops with Elizabeth’s for breakfast being my favorite. With a quick walk over the rusty rainbow bridge you’re on the beautiful crescent city park trail which is a very easy way to get into the quarter and French market area. Communication with property management and the owners was a breeze and they were so accommodating. One thing to take note of is this property shares a wall with the split duplex and the walls are quite thin so you can hear your neighbors and they can hear you. This was never a problem and I had great encounters with my neighbor and other guests, but something to take note of. I stayed here by myself for three months and felt extremely safe in the unit and in the neighborhood. This place was a great find and I would love to come stay again!

Delightful stay in Bywater. The apartment was clean, bright and full of helpful additions like coffee, sunscreen, shampoo and other little things that make your stay better. Matilde was very responsive to questions and full of helpful advice. The area (like much of New Orleans) mixes colourful architecture with rundown buildings and friendly locals. We walked all around the neighborhood and enjoyed the bars, cafes, galleries and especially the bike share. Visit The Country Club if you can -- tasty food and the pool is a nice way to end the day.

Great space to stay! Spacious and clean, it has everything you might need. The back patio is a great feature and a lovely place to enjoy a morning coffee. The location was great, walking distance from Frenchman Street and a short Uber ride or walk away from the French Quarter. I would definately recommend.

Truly was the perfect little place in a perfect neighborhood! Where else can you have a coffee shop, several amazing restaurants, a grocery store and a country club with a swimming pool within couple blocks? We had an amazing time and our hosts were great and prompt with response with any questions. We even got to meet Gustavo and see his art studio. Fascinating guy! Truly a wonderful time!

Our hosts, Matilde and Gustavo could not have been sweeter! We felt like we were family as soon as we met them. The apartment was comfy and quiet. Be sure to tour their art gallery/studio if given the chance. The artwork is beautiful. They were amazing when our flight was cancelled and we needed to find another place to stay FAST! So accommodating and even drove us to our new digs...WOW Plenty of amazing little restaurants in the Bywater neighborhood. Easy walk to the French Quarter as well. Thank you both for making our stay so enjoyable. Can't wait to go back :) See you next time... Jan and Lori

The home was nice but can stand a few things like a ironing board, new shower curtain liner , paper towels & maybe Aired out when not in use ( we had to burn a candle) to get the old house smell out.
