Our stay in Nice, CA, was nothing short of spectacular, thanks to our exceptional host, Angelique. From the moment we arrived, she welcomed us warmly and ensured every detail was perfect. The house was absolutely charming—cozy, impeccably clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a seamless trip. Just steps away, the lake beckoned, and Angelique made our water adventures effortless by providing a range of toys, from kayaks and paddleboards (included in our rental) to motorized options available for rent. This thoughtful setup made our days on the water both relaxing and exhilarating. We’re already looking forward to our next lake getaway in California, and there’s no question we’ll be booking with Angelique again. Thank you, Angelique and team, for an unforgettable experience!

We had a fun family get away for the holiday weekend. The cottage was cozy and comfortable. The host was great, she stays in another cottage on the property and is there for any needs. She has water toys to rent and had a great bbq out on the lake for all her cottages with food and the best live music. It is unanimous our family will be back

This place is right on the water, and we were able to tie up 3 fishing boats with no problem. The owner was in contact before and during our stay to make sure everything.

Everything was very nice and clean. We were there during the off season, so there were no watercraft available, but there were also few tourists so it was very peaceful.

Angelique is so wonderful host. Very friendly and great at communication. She made our stay so comfortable, we definitely come back again if the place available at the time we go back. Thank for everything Angelique !

I am so glad that we found this great vrbo so close to the Church. Very relaxing when getting ready and did not have to make the long drive in the heat. Best decision made. Family came after the reception was over and we were able to spend additional quality time remembering and catching up at a great location by the Lake. Very welcoming and accommodating.

Our first family vacation to celebrate all the July birthday's. This lakefront house was perfect. Angelique was so friendly and we loved that everything is on site. Water toys were available to rent and it was perfect for our family of 8. We will be back!! Next time we will get the cottages to add for more family.

Overall, I had a good time, but some things to watch for. 1. House was very nice, but found ants in the kitchen and bathroom. Fortunately, the house had ant killer in one of the cabinets. 2. The house owner has several properties that share the same fishing/boating dock. If there are boats using the dock, fishing from the dock is very limited. Check with home owner if there will be other guests using the dock before making a reservation. This was not apparent on the house listing on VRBO so I found out after I checked in.

Angelique was very helpful and communicated with me the whole time. She checked in often to see how things were going. Check in was super easy. Some of the kitchen utensils were dirty in the kitchen cabinets, but cleaning it was easy so that's okay. The kitchen can use some more pots and pans but we made do with what we had. We caught plenty of fish with the shared docks on the property. All around great weekend with a great host. Thanks again, Angelique! I had a great birthday stay!

We had a great time staying in Nice, CA at the Haven. You can tell the property is cared for, loved, and time and energy is puI Mt into the maintenance of it. We enjoyed kayaking right in front of the house and fishing off the dock. It was windy but we made the best of it. Algae wasn't bad and the wildlife was around. Thanks again.
