Stayed Jun 19, 2019The view is amazing. From the patio/balcony, you can see the ocean, part of the famous wall, and Lokrum Island. At sunset, you'll see yachts, kayaks, and other boats. On the other side, through either the kitchen or main bathroom window, you can overlook Old Town all the way up the top of the hill behind it. Really cool. The air conditioning is strong and in every room, and plenty of space for 4 people to lounge around. The only thing I would note is that from the Old Town entrances on either side, you will have to walk up a decent amount of stairs and cobblestone to reach the property. If you have heavy luggage or have children / seniors, you might need to hire a porter. Most importantly, once you arrive at the property, it is up a flight of relatively steep stairs for 4 floors, which really isn't that bad unless you have luggage. The property manager can help you call a porter if required. Don't mean to scare anyone -- the property, location, and views are great!

Stayed Jun 23, 2018This has to be the best place to stay in Dubrovnik. It looks over the city walls, out to the ocean with a HUGE balcony and comfortable outdoor furniture, and the other side looks out onto the mountains and old city. It's newly renovated, sparkling, spotless, and a steal. It has 2 bathrooms, a washing machine, full kitchen and a few steps away from the market, bakery, grocery store, restaurants. I'd travel all the way to Croatia, just to stay here again. Thank you Marija for making us feel SO very welcome and comfortable in your home country!

Stayed May 30, 2026Phenomenal stay with one of the best - if not THE best - views in the Old Town. Right off the balcony you can see Lokrum, and if you turn around you can see the beautiful classic red and orange rooftops across the town. The place was incredibly clean and had everything we needed and more. Marija was lovely to meet during our check in and gave us very clear instructions. We plan to come back and stay again, we loved it so much! 10/10 would recommend.

Stayed May 14, 2026Wow!!! I chose this property to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary based on the views and reviews, and was blown away by the experience. From the start, Maro was highly responsive to my messages, coordinated our transfers, and porter service, and gave us excellent recommendations of things to see and do while in Dubrovnik. I do highly recommend the use of the porter service to navigate the steps, especially the 53 narrow, spiral steps leading to the apartment. We are 61 and 62 and in great physical condition, but to navigate large suitcases ourselves would have been impossible. We enjoyed the expansive view of the Adriatic Sea, Lokrum, and the Old Town walls and views from the furnished terrace each evening with a glass of wine and snacks. The views alone are worth the climb up. On arrival, Marija, Maro’s assistant, met us in front of the apartment, led us up, and showed us around the apartment explaining everything. She was very welcoming. We spent time on Lokrum Island, did a day trip to the Elaphiti Islands through Regina Maris(Maro’s excellent recommendation), did a day trip with Dubrovnik Food Story to the Pelsejac Peninsula for a wine tour(which I highly recommend), a day trip to Bosnia, and a day trip to Montenegro. Staying in Old Town Dubrovnik was an enchanting experience. Having a marvelous place to stay was a blessing, and having a host and hostess who were so helpful and welcoming was so appreciated! We loved it, and hope to return sometime.

Stayed Mar 14, 2026We had a lovely stay here and we were so lucky with the weather and it really did make all the difference to our holiday. Check in and out was really simple and great communication throughout. Really helpful that they arrange a pick up and drop off for us and it made our transfer to and from the airport simple and easy.

Stayed Oct 23, 2025Nice place to stay in Dubrovnik. Two bathrooms were nice to have, kitchen was functional and clean. The apartment itself was clean and orderly. The balcony was the main reason we stayed. That was comfortable but you are looking at people 10-20 yards away walking the walls all day, so privacy is limited. The view was great. You can see the tower and Lokrum island with a little bend of the body but still fun to see. This is a place which is up many different levels of stairs which Dubrovnik has many but also the building itself has 50plus steps. So, plan accordingly you are not going to go back and forth to the old city without a little effort. If you are in good shape no problem. The building itself is not well kept. The front door was always open and the staircase was not well kept but overall this is a really special place in a really special Old Town Dubrovnik. I recommend it for a unique experience

Stayed Oct 6, 2025The apartment was better than expected. It was fully furnished w all we needed for breakfast and happy hour. We loved having a washer and drying rack. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The patio has amazing views, awning and furniture for a much needed respite fr Dubrovnik’s hustle. The stairs to the unit are the only downside. Getting a porter to bring them would be worth it if you can find one (we didn’t!)

Stayed Sep 14, 2025Fantastic apartment with a phenomenal view overlooking the Dubrovnik old town city walls out towards Lokum Island and the Adriatic Sea. Lots of stairs but so worth the journey! It's a fabulous space for two couples with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There's a nice big fridge, dishwasher, stove, microwave, coffee maker (with filters!) and a washing machine! There's a large outside deck with two big awnings. Just below the apartment is the Buza bar/beach for a great swim in the Adriatic Sea, which we did several times. We loved being right in heart of old town Dubrovnik. Our host Maro and assistant Maria were super responsive and extremely helpful during our stay. Maro lined up a private shuttle from the airport and porters that carried our bags up the city steps and up to our to floor apartment. So worth every penny! A first class experience and a trip to remember!

Stayed Aug 31, 2025An amazing location and view - the terrace is a wonderful peaceful spot to watch the sun (and moon) set over the Adriatic, whilst still being right in the heart of the old town. The rest of the apartment is also very good, and as described - clean, comfortable, effective air conditioning. The wifi is a bit slow, so perhaps not for digital nomads; and the terrace would benefit from a table to eat at - but the seating is fine for drinks and breakfast, and I preferred to eat in one of the excellent restaurants a minute or two away anyway. The access situation is well described - you need to be comfortable with steps in the town, as well as the staircase to the top floor - but this is almost inevitable in the old town, and is the price to pay to look over the walls! Check-in and out was straightforward and friendly. The ideal place to stay in Dubrovnik.

Stayed Oct 21, 2024This apartment was one of the finest accommodations I have ever rented on this platform. A lot of stairs, but worth the climb for the view of the Adriatic, the sunsets over the ocean with the wall of the old city made for a perfect setting If you do rent, pay particular attention to the comments and suggestions from Marija they will pay off.

Stayed Aug 28, 2024The apartment is on the top floor of a building at one of the highest points of the old town, looking southwest over the city Wall to the Adriatic Sea. The covered porch is just a beautiful place to hang out. Buza Bar is about 50 steps from the front door. We swam there every afternoon. We met the assistant, Marija, at the apartment. She welcomed us with her wonderful, zany humor. Marija efficiently gave us a tour of the modern apartment with excellent air conditioning, and informed us of what we needed to know. She also gave us a few recommendations on where to eat. The Bosnian cuisine at the nearby Taj Mahal was delicious. Communication with owners, Maro and Marija (there are 2 Marijas) was easy and they replied promptly to my questions. As other reviews have mentioned, there are a lot of steps to get to the apartment; 55, if I remember correctly. This after climbing up the street steps from wherever else we were. That said, we are in our 60’s with one of us having had recent knee surgery and another with leg and hip issues. Yet, we would all eagerly stay there again. We just love the apartment and its location!
