Apartment in Center of York with self check in facility

from booking to leaving the host of this property has been amazing replying promptly to any inquiry and checking that everything was good. The location on the edge of the city wall allows you to walk to all the attractions in York easily. As an added bonus there is a major supermarket a few minutes walk away. We easily found car parking. The flat is very clean and is well equipped with quality linens, comfortable bed, and a well stocked kitchen. A fan was available as we were there during a heat wave. . We wanted for nothing during our stay and would highly recommend Conway Cottage.

Conway Cottage at Fishergate In York is highly recommended! The cottage is very well kept with everything you need for a comfortable, homey stay in York. Great kitchen that is well appointed and comfortable bed. The cottage is in a super location and an easily walk to city center/old town in York and also York University. Lots of shops/restaurants very close to the cottage. The host is super responsive to any need you have. We will definitely stay at Conway Cottage again on our next visit to York.

Really nice experience staying at Conway cottage perfect location, i was able to park outside with just a 5 minute walk to city centre very cpmfortable.

Picked this property mainly for the location, as we were running the Marathon and then staying in York for a few days. Just outside the walls but only a short walk to the centre. Apartment itself is very clean and well equipped, would highly recommend.

We stayed at Conway Cottage three nights while my husband attended a conference at York University. The cottage is very comfortably appointed, located in an ideal location just outside the city within a 15 minute walk of the University and about a 20 minute walk to the center of the City. It was very quiet, but still not far from a bus route, two supermarkets (new Coop and a lovely Waitrose), and restaurants (including Jenny's Fish & Chips, and a nice Chinese restaurant). Our hosts were exceptionally thoughtful and helpful. We had a small problem with the shower drain, but it got fixed immediately. Also, the kitchen is very well equipped, internet fast, bed large and very comfortable. All in all, one of the best holiday flats we'e stayed in.

Lovely feeling to the apartment, well furnished and decorated. Nicely placed for the city centre.

The flat was ideally positioned in order to discover York by foot. The owners had gone to considerable trouble to make us feel welcome eg a vase of flowers, a tray of sweets and essentials in the fridge and food cupboard. The only draw back was that parking was not necessarily possible directly outside the flat which was difficult for loading and unloading the car.

We were able to walk to most attractions, lots of pubs in easy walking distance, simple instructions to follow. We really enjoyed herself.
