Apartment house Hintermoos, family friendly, direct access to the ski area

Perfect apartment for ski trip with family. The balcony is fantastic and large with sun in the morning and early afternoon

This house absolutely lived up to our expectations. Really (!) good kitchen including all crockery, cutlery and utensils we needed (good pans, which is not always a given when you rent a house!) Also noteworthy is the ample storage space with numerous cabinets (although the main bedroom could use a little more shelf space, but that’s a minor detail). The shower was very good as well. What we by now consider basics was also definitely in order: good wifi, television, lots of board/card games and books to choose from (mostly german of course...) The one thing we were not too thrilled about were the beds with relatively thin matresses. With better matresses, we would have given a 5 star rating. The only other tips we can give is to include towel bars in the bathroom (now there are only, albeit plenty of, hooks to hang your stuff) and to maybe consider changing the layout of the apartment to create an extra bedroom out of the “abstellkammer” by moving the right wall further right and replace the sofa with a bunk bed in that larger room to really accomodate up to 6 persons :) Thanks for having us! (and sorry we forgot to clean out the fridge when leaving; hope somebody enjoyed those beers...)

We spent seven days between 17-23 July 2016 in Maria Alm. The village is lovely, it has many opportunities for holidaymakers in summer, although it is basically a ski resort. Families with young children (older than 4-5 years) can also find ways to have fun and relax. The apartment is situated in a great building, but separated from the other rooms. The resort is not a hotel: there is no reception nor room service nor restaurant, but everything is cleaned and kept in immaculate state by an 'invisible' staff. A large car park is situated beside the building. There is a special bonus as well, on the ground floor a little swimming pool can be used free of charge from the morning till 8 p.m. It has a special importance for us, as our younger daughter learned to swim here. The apartment is very well equipped and conveniently big. It has two large balconies that look directly to the Hochkönig’s peaks and some of Maria Alm’s skilifts. The landscape is breathtaking, we never had such view from our window before. There are lot of storing places in the rooms, so we could place our belongings conveniently. In a cupboard we found many board games, in German language. Free and fast wi fi connection provided, as well as cable tv with international channels – we found even some Hungarian ones. All in all we can just recommend it even for those who come with children.

Just Perfect , very good athmosphere , very correct and friendly owner . There is not much to say , realy place to be .
