Apartment/ flat - Pimonte

Great location and stunning view of the volcano. Vincenzo was a perfect host, everything was easy.

We enjoyed a lovely 4 night stay here, up in the mountains with a fabulous view over Vesuvius. Both bedrooms had air con and we had use of a pool shared between 3 apartments. Although the apartment is dated, it had every we needed. Vincenzo made us feel very welcome and he lives in the apartment block so help is always on hand. There are shops and restaurants in the little town which is a short drive. There is a fabulous restaurant within walking distance. It was a great base to explore the whole peninsula. It was nice to go back to somewhere quiet after the craziness of Italian streets!

bit of updating could be needed but lovely apartment in great location, nice pool area.

We had a lovely time in Pimonte. It is close to Naples, Vesuvio, Pompeii and also close to Amalfi coast. Spend here 5 nights with my 2 kids and husband. Apartmen is large with 2 bedrooms each with bathroom and kitchen. Amazing view from balcony. Large swimming pool and garden. Owner is very friendly and helpful. Apartment is a good choice.

Excellent host. Very clean accommodations. Terrific view of the city of Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius.

We had a wonderful stay in August at this apartment and would recommend it to anyone. Apartment is clean and spacious with 2 double beds and a sofa bed each bedroom has a TV also and Aircon unit, which was definitely needed in August. The views from the balcony of Vesuvius and surrounding towns are beautiful day and night. Lots of mosquitos though so take plenty of spray to protect. The swimming pool is shared with a other apartment but we got plenty of use of it over the week. It was very welcome in the heat. Location is up in the hills and the drive up is not for the faint hearted, although we got used to it by the end of the week I would say a car is probably needed to get about, especially if you want to go to Pompeii, Sorrento, Amalfi, etc. Vincenzo the host was very welcoming and lelives in another appointment in the block. Although my Italian is poor, we communicated well and he was available on WhatsApp if we had any questions. Overall, a lovely stay and we would definitely return!

Welcoming owners and a well positioned apartment. From nearby Castelamarra you can take the train to Sorrento, Pompeii, Herculaneum and Naples. The view from the property is amazing. Several reasonably priced restaurants in Pimonte serving lovely Pizzas.

Vincenzo was quick to respond to my initial queries. The actual apartment is in the same building he lives at and pretty spacious with a functioning kitchen. Nothing luxurious but very normal if that makes sense. Good amount of storage space and a washing machine is in the apartment. Parking spot is right outside. The balcony on one side has a spectacular (day and nighttime) view of Mt. Vesuvius. There are a few restaurants, bakeries and grocery stores within a 10 min drive. If driving over, make sure to check out the actual area before making the drive. The only draw back if any at all is the actual road you turn into (via Pendino) can easily be missed if you don't pay attention to the GPS. Will definitely come back.
