This was our third stay at this property - the location in the old city near great restaurants (be sure to reserve at Pastis) and close to a great boulangerie / fromagerie / farmer's market etc make this a great base for enjoying the old city. The owners have been fantastic.

Loved this place! The kitchen and living room are good sized, nice queen size bed downstairs. Not for people with mobility issues — stairs inside are steep and winding. A gem!

We had an absolutely lovely month here and hated to leave. Nathalie and Christophe are superb hosts and the apartment is filled with character and history. The location is also perfect as it is a short walk to the main city square, parks, restaurants, shopping, the tramway, everything. We highly recommend this apartment and would love to stay here again. Merci beaucoup, Nathalie and Christophe !

This was our second stay here because we enjoyed the first stay so much. The suite is in the old part of the city on a quiet street and is steps away from an amazing bakery (Des Rêves et du Pain), a terrific fromagerie and a wide variety of coffee shops, restaurants and bars. The suite is also easy walking distance to a great Saturday market and transit. We found this to be an excellent base for exploring the city. Don't forget to take the tram to Lattes to look at the flamingos. The hosts (Cristophe and Nathalie) were fantastic.

We quickly fell in love with Christophe and Nathalie’s beautiful home. It was exactly as described in the listing and nice and centrally located. We would absolutely love to stay again on holiday in Montpellier!

The host was always available and responsive to messages. The apartment was well equipped, super clean and located in a very safe neighborhood. The building was old, (historic landmark) and the renovation was well done. While small, the bathroom and shower were new, the water was hot and the water pressure strong. We thorougly enjoyed our weeklong stay.

This place is something special. It is a rustic 13th century building with 21st century updates. The owner greeted us with a local wine and cookies, which were very welcomed after our long trip. He showed us around the property. So many lovely details that made the apartment both comfortable and fun (e.g. warming towel rack, reading nook and induction stove)! My husband and I stayed with our young adult daughter. We all agreed that this was the best VRBO we had rented. The apartment was nicely heated and the beds were comfortable. The location was fantastic — close to shops, but very quiet. The owners answered questions quickly and made checkout easy. We fell in love with Montpellier and will definitely be coming back. Thank you for an amazing experience!

Nathalie and Christophe left us a little snack for our arrival- with wine! Such a nice treat after more than 24 hours of travel. The downstairs was a little damp so we slept in the living room. Don’t be afraid to ask for help, they are very willing and kind! A passing knowledge of French is essential.

The property is in a historic building on a quiet, narrow street in the old part of Montpellier. Within two blocks there is virtually anything you would need - boulangerie (naturally), supermarket, restaurants (including an excellent Michelin starred one), coffee shops and bars. The local market held on Saturdays is within easy walking distance. The property has a small kitchen including a two-burner cooktop and oven that is good for basic cooking. We had a great time and the hosts were fantastic. The only thing to consider is that the property may not be for you if you have limited mobility. There are a few steps and the stairs to the cellar bedroom are quite steep. Parking may be an issue too. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

This is a most unique apartment in the heart of Montpellier. Cafes and restaurants are a two minute walk away. Street traffic in front of the apartment is minor, so one can enjoy the calm and charm of being in a 13th century building. Everything is within easy walking distance. The narrow streets of Montpellier offer hours of pleasant strolls. The gare is 15 minutes away. We received a warm welcome and felt most at home. Merci Nathalie et Cristof John and Sandra Vermont USA
