Apartment 50 meters from the sea

We stayed at this two bedroom apartment for approximately one month (mid-March to mid-April, 2024). The entire experience was wonderful! The apartment is bigger than it appears in the pictures - the double doors that open wide to provide access to the large living/dining room give the space a The host was thoughtful and helpful throughout our stay a bright airy feel. The 2nd bedroom was a great office. Several small extras were placed in the apartment to help us enjoy our stay (e.g., fresh garden vegetables, lots of bath soap, shampoo, and conditioner, clothes soap for the washing machine) and several other things that, all together, add to the experience. There is a small portable vacuum and a broom and dustpan (there was also cleaning liquids/sprays available) - it was easy to clean The bus stops (in both directions are nearby) and, with the help of google maps, one can easily and accurately plan bus travel. We also walked the beach promenade throughout our stay and it really is only 50m from the apartment. The apartment has beautiful windows that open wide to allow a fresh breeze into the apartment and the TV is excellent (we used our own firestick to access movies). The wifi performed perfectly and the kitchen had most things we needed. If I was to make one small suggestion for improvement, it would be to add a couple of folding beach chairs in the apartment - we ended up just using towels or renting beach chairs down the beach. Overall, this place is fantastic!

Though Roquetas de Mar looks from the first view not interesting (the landscape there is defined by the thousands of greenhouses in the area), this is not really the case. It is a very clean town with very broad, clean and empty beach. The apartment is located just about 3 km from the highway in a very quiet town area. The town is narrow here, that means not many people go to the nearest beach, it is almost empty also in a high season. No problem to find a place just in front of the sea. There's 50m to the beach and additional 50m to the sea. However, due to the quiet area, the nearest supermarkets are Dia and Consum in about 400m, as well as Aldi and Mercadona in 1.5 km. The restaurants are behind the port, ca. 1km or in the direction of Urbanización about 500m, some cafes are also nearer. The apartment is big, clean, has air conditioning in 2 rooms (the third becomes not too hot). Kitchen is equipped with all necessary equipment. There's a washing machine as well. The owners are very nice and helpful, they provided us with many utensils and groceries (like oil, salt, sugar, detergent, coffee etc). Actually, we almost did not have any requests because everything was ok. We liked the stay a lot.
