Stayed Jun 1, 2025Excellent location. Quiet, light flat with good shutters for blackout. Plenty of hot water and spacious shower. Absolutely everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Comfortable bed. All was clean and thoughtfully prepared.

Stayed Apr 23, 2025The apartment was exactly as advertised. It is very central, so everywhere within the central city was within walking distance. Good internet, free cable TV (including CNN and many other English-language news channels. Fully equipped kitchen. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Mar 16, 2025We stayed 2 weeks in Luisa and Jose's apartment. This was by far the best equipped/furnished apartment we have stayed in. Absolutely everything was there that one could possibly ask for. Luisa and Jose are extremely nice and helpful and easy to communicate with. They met us in front of the apartment and Jose was so kind to carry our bags up to the 2nd floor (back down and the end). Since we were on an extended trip we had 2 large suitcases. The apartment was all we hoped for and the wine, chocolate and nuts they had waiting for us were much appreciated. The apartment is in an excellent location right in the old town, a short walk to everything. If you just want to stay in town a car is not needed since groceries and butcher shops are practically next door. We did many day trips from there and very much enjoyed that area of northern Portugal.

Stayed Oct 28, 2024Emily’s Apartment, was perfect for our seven day stay in Viana do Castelo. Luisa and José met us upon our arrival and directed to our parking space. They also aquatinted us to the apartment. The bottle of wine and chocolates were much appreciated. The apartment is very clean and well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Most anything you want to see or do is a short walk once you step outside the door. I highly recommend this little gem to anyone staying in Viana do Castelo.
