Apê Calypso is a modern and luxury two bedroom apartment equipped for 1 to4 people high up in the Calypso building. It is about 92 m2 (± 990 ft2) and also has 23 m2 (± 248 ft2) of outdoor space spread over two balconies.
The apartment is very bright and has an unobstructed view over the city. The building is less than five minutes walking distance from Central Station. There is a private parking space in the garage below the building. The apartment has underfloor heating and cooling. There is fast broadband internet (wired + wifi) and a wide range of (international) digital tv channels.

Inside the apartment there is hardly any outside noise. But also on the balcony you will notice the relative tranquility because of the absence of heavy traffic.

The apartment has a living room with a sitting area, dining table and open plan kitchen. There is a smart TV with international channels and Netflix. The kitchen is equipped with an espresso machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave, induction cooker, American style fridge and more.
Adjacent to the livingroom there is a large balcony with a lounge sofa and dining table. This south facing balcony offers a lot of privacy since there are no neighbouring balconies. And because it's a covered balcony you can sit outside even if it's raining.

There are two bedrooms with a total of four beds. The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed (210 x 180). This bedroom has a large wardrobe and is equipped with a smart TV. Adjacent to the room there is a balcony with a lounge chair which offers a view on the square Schouwburgplein below.

The second bedroom has two single beds (200 x 90). This room has a wardrobe as well. Through a narrow door the balcony of the master bedroom can be reached as well.

The bathroom has a bath, a walk-in shower with a regular showerhead as well as a rainshower and a double sink. The apartment has a separate toilet.

There is a washing machine in the extra storage room.

In the entance hall of the building there is a counter that is staffed during the day. There is also a fitness room in the building.

The Calypso building is centrally located next to the square Schouwburgplein, directly adjacent to the shopping area Lijnbaan, cinema, restaurants etc. On the ground floor there is a supermarket, a Bagels & Beans and a sushi & grill restaurant. Central Station is less than 5 minutes walking distance from the building.

This was our second time staying at Apê Calypso, very smooth & easy check in process, great communication with owner Alex, it’s a lovely apartment for our visit for a week, ideal with the car park in the basement. The apartment is very clean, and we love the added extras such as coffee & fresh fruit & oranges to make our own orange juice. The location is in perfect walking distance to the main shopping area, restaurants & supermarket, considering how close it is to a busy area, the apartment is very quiet!! We look forward to going again in the future!!!

It is located a couple blocks away from the Centraal station which makes seeing all of the sights so wonderfully easy. The shopping district and restaurants are a couple blocks away (backside of the building, not the street entrance side). Easy interactions with the owners as well. This is my second stay in this apartment... will likely be back!

For a great stay in Rotterdam, you can't ask for a better location or a nicer place to call home. This property is immaculate, has stunning views, every modern convenience, and is perfectly located in the city. It's steps from a tram line and only a couple of easy blocks to the Rotterdam Central train station, where you can catch trains to anywhere you want to go in the Netherlands, and all of Europe for that matter! It's a quick 35 minutes door to door from Schiphol Airport, and just a few minutes further to Amsterdam Central. Alex is an excellent host, whom we now consider a good friend, and we look forward to our next visit with great anticipation! As our title says, this property was perfect in every way for our needs. We had people ask us why Rotterdam? Our response is simple. Great people, great food, great music (jazz and classical for us, but there's great everything), and no big crowds like Amsterdam, which, again, is a short train ride away and worth a visit. Thanks Alex, for such a fantastic place to stay!

Everything about the apartment is 1st class. Alex and Sandra so helpful with check in. Cleanliness and facilities in the apartment are amazing.
