Luca was an amazing host. His detailed communications made our arrival to Venice stress-free … he even went out of his way to meet and greet us at the station. The property was as advertised … clean, close to the Venezia Santa Lucia Station, with many restaurants and attractions near by. The property had everything we needed which comfortably accommodated our family of five adults … we had no issues during our stay. Luca even gave us an overview of Venice, with food recommendations and travel tips. Definitely would recommend this property.

Excellent stay in an ideal location. Beautiful property with extensive family history. Lovely canal views from the master bedroom. Cold A/C! The floors are exquisite. Clear communication throughout the whole process from owner. Be aware that if you cannot deal with stairs & bags than this place is NOT for you. Highly recommended.

Single mom traveling with kids, this place was perfect! Lovely and responsive host. Great central location. We took a water taxi from the airport and docked right at the property. A truly unique and magical start to the trip. Beautiful view and everyone got their own rooms! Right upstairs from a market, super convenient. We got to watch the July fireworks from the balcony! Just a wonderful place and stay!

I’d give 10 stars if I could.The apartment was clean, roomy and very comfortable. There were 5 of us so having 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms plus a large sitting room was perfect. Having A/C during a July visit was a godsend. Plus being upstairs from a grocery and so close to the train station and Vaporetto stop couldn’t have been in a better location. Also was able to book a water taxi that dropped off and picked up right out front! Hosts were so kind and helpful. Extremely good English speakers which we’re so thankful since our Italian skills are terrible. Building is safe and secure. Only thing to be cautious of are the 3 flights of stairs. You’ll need good knees!Would highly recommend and hope to return!

Luca is the best host we have ever experienced. He prepped us on everything from where to eat to how everything functioned in the apartment. He wrote a manual that should be a primer for every host. We never needed to reach out during our stay. Yet he was available by phone/text at all times. He was so thoughtful that it made the experience hassle-free.

Great location and fantastic host!

The apartment was perfect for my family. Everyone had their own space, plus there was common space. The location is perfect, with easy access to transportation and a grocery store downstairs. Great communication and advice from our host.

My family of four spent three nights in Venice and this apartment was perfect. It had a lot of room to move around, close to the train station and all the amenities of home. Two bedrooms are off the main street so it can be noisy and one bedroom is off the street and super quiet. Great place!

From booking to leaving the apartment, the whole experience was just great! Very spacious, well equipped unit. The soft towels were very much appreciated. It’s was 95-100F day and night during our stay, so AC in each bedroom and in a living room worked perfectly. Keeping us cool after a hike upstairs. Thank you Luca, we will be back???

wonderful stay although it was very hot! Fortunately there is A/C which is very necessary! pack as light as possible because walk from train up stairs is taxing. Luca was very accommodating with our late arrival!

Luca was such a gracious host and his family home was perfect for our visit to Venice. We especially loved that there was plenty of space for our teens and two bathrooms. The location was perfect for us- outside of the craziness of St. Mark's square and next to a beautiful canal. It was super convenient to have the grocery store immediately below the flat. We also loved the proximity to Dorsoduro and Santa Croce neighborhoods, which provided beautiful and peaceful morning and evening walks.

Information, Booking, payment and communication with the host worked excellent and smooth. The appartment was as expected and according to the description, large rooms, nice and cosy. Kind and helpfull host. A really nice stay, with no surprises

We had a great trip. We should have stayed longer. The Pia Domus location was perfect. Very close to the train station which made transfer to our apartment very easy. Also close to Grand Canal for vaporetto access. And finally … the owner was very responsive, accommodating and helpful. Just what we needed to fill some of the many gaps in our knowledge about staying in Venice.
