Unit was clean and easy to access. Also VERY quiet (except for cooing of pigeons at times). Appreciated drying rack for my clothes since I air dry many of my clothing items anyway. Washer & dryer a bit of a challenge to figure out how to use at first, but I succeeded (much different from appliances I am used to); Manager responds to questions and any issues promptly. Most importantly, as a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe in this apartment's location and it has great access to buses, S-Bahns, etc; however, I found myself walking everywhere most days! Great location! Would definitely stay here again.

Great spot in the Altstadt. Clean, well appointed and a great value. Apparently there are four apartments at this location that are available for short term rentals. Next time I will book directly!Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Thank you for opening your apartment for the perfect Germany trip. The location literality could not of been better, just steps from the old town. Heidelberg has a fun university vibe and there is so much to soak in morning, afternoon and evening. Old bridge (and monkey), castle and kings stool, philosophy way, student jail, walking and just being in Heidelberg. Heidelberg was also a perfecting launching point for several day trips to incredible towns (Strasbourg and Colmar France, Rothenburg ob dear Tauber, Speyer, and Stuttgart). We also spent a few days in Munich. The apartment had a well stocked kitchen and several grocery stores near by (and great restaurants). We had the BEST time and hope to visit again. We would definitely stay here and highly recommend without hesitation. It was perfect!

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was in a location that was a great combination of being a bit off of the busiest streets, but still very close to everything. It's super conventient to the castle funicular, as well as an easy walk across the river or down the main street. The apartment is nicely appointed with eveything you need for a short stay. The dishwasher and washer/dryer are nice bonuses. Also nice that it's set back from the street so you don't hear any noise from outside (other than the pigeons). Would definitely stay here again.

The flat is close to the pedestrian zone, the Marktplatz, the Alte Bruecke, where you have all the action. It's also close to the Heidelberg castle, 313 steps. :) Parking is possible in the close by parking garage, not too expensive. The flat itself is great for two people, quiet at night, with all the amenities you need.

The apartment was perfectly located in the old city within walking distance of everything. It was quiet, clean and just as described. Martina was charming and very helpful. She communicated better than any Homeaway owner and we have stayed in more than we can count. She went above and beyond. We will be back!

All in all this is a really well designed little place, awesome location (cute little coffee shop and bar on the corner), close to all the touristy parts of Heidelberg but quiet, built into what used to be a small interior courtyard. The amenities are on the higher end (new kitchen, washer/dryer, shower etc) and beautiful details (original stone walls, dimmer lighting). Communications with the owners were prompt and pleasant, place was tiptop clean and excellently maintained, check in was easy thanks to pinpads. However, there is one big negative game changer for me that I didn't really get out of the property description so i want to mention it here: If you're looking for a light and airy place, with any kind of view whatsoever, this place is not going to be for you, I was really disappointed when i walked through the door. There is a large skylight roof (all glass) in the front sitting area of the studio and on the mezzanine with the sleeping area there are two small windows looking out on the house walls of the very small interior courtyard. If you have the windows open you'll be able to hear any conversation going on in any of the other (5+) appartments facing into the courtyard that have their windows open and they'll be able to hear you. To me it felt like i was living in a garage, a pretty garage, but still dark and hard to ventilate, a lot of fruit flies in the back of the kitchen even if no food was left out... just really not what i wanted for my two week stay in such a beautiful town. In the winter it may not have bothered me so much, but as it was I was kind of disappointed especially on the days that it rained. There was no view to the outside and the back of the studio apartment was dark and felt dank. However I did absolutely love the top location, so that made up for some of the garage feeling.
