Air-conditioned standing apartment facing the sea (20 m from the beach)

Apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The views from the terrace were spectacular!

Great views and large balconies, but cheaply finished. Door handles falling off, as well as front door security lock, couch crumbling, uncomfortable beds, no supplies (not even soap). Owner locked us out of main bedroom for a night (many emails back and forth to prove we rented the entire apt. not just part of it). Appears to be an unlicensed rental as no A.L. Designation is present. Can’t recommend this one.

Our stay here was just as we wanted. Wifi would have been welcome as the tv only had local channels. Also better directions to the appartment would be useful. Taxi's did not know the address. ( and we thought we knew Quarteria). We had to find an english speaker in a resturant to tell us the way as the address is a bit vague. We liked that it was a portugese resort. We would definately book this appartment again. Many thanks

CLEAN AND LARGE

Just want to say the Condo met our expectations....it was spacious , clean, well located and great balcony views. We'll rent this Condo again.

We stayed here late June - early July 2018, a family group with 3 older teenagers. The apartment is clean, and has all you need for a very relaxing holiday, we didn't hire a car, you don't need to. There's a supermarket a short walk away, and all the restaurants, cafes etc you could need right on your doorstep, yet the area is not noisy. The pool area is clean and was never busy, we often had it to ourselves, all communal areas are well kept. The apartment itself was a pleasant surprise, the photos don't quite do it justice. It's spacious, and has everything you could wish for (although a few dishwasher tablets, a bottle of water, and a couple of teabags left for guests would be appreciated). The air con is great, but the breeze means you shouldn't need it much if the balcony doors are open. The shower is powerful, but has a mind of it's own! The English TV channels are hit and miss reception wise, but you won't need TV, just go out on to the balcony, its wonderful, the view is amazing. Ana, the lovely key holder was waiting for us at the apartment block entrance door, and she was a welcome sight when we arrived, it's always a relief to see the property actually exists, and you'll be let in! However, be aware, there's a knack to opening the building door, it seems to be a longstanding issue, you'll get used to it, but first time you'll think you have wrong key. Only one set of keys provided, which was inconvenient. I wouldn't hesitate about recommending this apartment (and Quarteria) to anyone, and would definitely book it again.

WE really enjoyed this stay, right on the beach, nice apartment with all the facilities we needed. Some excellent and reasonably priced restaurants just within a 3 minute walk, mostly Portuguese people rather than other Europeans give it a much more authentic feel than Vilamoura just down the road.The kind lady whop held the keys stayed up late tp greet us after a 5 hour flight delay. One small negative was the lack of internet, but we had been warned Otherwise, a good rental. recommended.
