I came to the Forest Cabin for a personal retreat. It is a gorgeous location nestled in the mountains right next to the river. I enjoyed the peace and quiet. The bed was large and comfortable. The host is very good at getting back quickly with any messages/emails sent. Just a note, I recommend not staying in the summer months because there is no a/c and the heat was barely tolerable. I found it difficult to fall asleep at night even with a fan and windows open. Also, bring insect repellent because there are lots of mosquitos as I tried to spend most of my time outside. With those two items in mind, you should enjoy your stay.

We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary. All we wanted was to unplug and disconnect from the city buzz and change the scenery and, that we did. This was the perfect place for us on this anniversary. The space is clean and clutter free. You can rest and sleep listening to the creek running next to the cabin and nature all around. We loved feeling far from everything and still be so close to anything we wanted or needed. We highly recommend this stay.

We loved this little creekside cabin along Big Cottonwood Canyon. The central location was perfect - we were close to all of the ski/snowboard resorts (backcountry too!) and Salt Lake City. We spent our days in the majestic mountains and the evenings in the urban restaurants, so only slept here, and were perfectly comfortable. Our hosts were super communicative and provided everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.We had never been to Salt Lake City before. Despite the restoration work going on - we were blown away by this beautiful city! We weren't able to tour any of the locations we hoped to, so we'll have to come back. The restaurant scene was vibrant and the varied architecture was impressive. The thoughtful urban planning that has transpired over the years is a gift to those that live here. Being from the northwest corner of the PNW, we appreciated our time in Salt Lake City.Enjoy your stay!

Amazing location. It's magical being by the creek. Great views.Pictures are accurate, it's not the fanciest inside, but all in all a great option that I would stay at again. Great value. Good communication with hosts.

Cute studio right in the river. A bit tricky to find at night but they do provide detailed directions.

The cabin was exactly as advertised. For those staying in the future, be advised that the hot water for the shower does run out quickly :) Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved this cabin! It was perfect for the one night we stayed and it had everything we needed. It was clean and the views through the windows were the perfect touch. The shower right next to the toilet was a bit awkward and the hot water ran out pretty quickly but those are first world problems compared to the wonderful experience my husband and I had. We sat outside the cabin and enjoyed the view of the river and nature. We would definitely stay here again if we ever travel back to Utah.
