Your Abode is equipped with a smart TV or streaming device (Roku) which allows guests to access their own streaming accounts that are automatically logged out at checkout. Your Abode does not have cable or satellite service but the streaming device does provide some free TV and movie content.

Guest Access:
As a guest, you will have access to the following:

-Entire private apartment
-Gated on-site parking (first come-first serve)

The Neighborhood:
Vibe:
Marathon Village, a unique neighborhood of sorts that has become quite a Nashville hotspot, is made up of a group of 100-year-old warehouse buildings which was originally where the Marathon, a car made in the early 1900s, was built. Fast forward to today, and it has become a complex for artists’, photographers’, and designers’ studios.

Eat:
Some of Nashville's best whiskey and spirit makers call Marathon Village home. In between your tasting tours, do stop by The Bang Candy Company for one of their amazing marshmallows. You can thank us later!

Play:
Serving as a model of adaptive reuse of historic structures, Marathon Village is one of Nashville's most creative communities -- with more than 45 tenants representing fine, commercial, and performing arts. The building used to house the Marathon Factory back in 1910, which produced the Marathon Automobile. Guests are welcome to browse the facilities to see some of the old remains of this historic building in Music City.

Nearby Areas Include:

• Marathon Village -- walking distance! Nashville Pickers, distillery, coffee, shopping, lots of history!)
• Midtown (college bars, Vandy kids, good food)
• Germantown (great food, very safe area, former warehouse district)
• The Gulch (good eats and shopping)
• Lower Broadway (The Strip, Honkey Tonks, The Ryman, museums, etc.)
• Hillsboro Village (no chains, everything in this area is locally owned)
• 5 Points (Think Nashville's version of Williamsburg or Silverlake)
• 12 South (good eats and shopping)

Getting Around:
Free Rides Downtown or Around Town:

Download Lyft and Uber apps to your smart phone for your transportation. A group of 4 new users can have 4 free ride credits. The wait time is minimal (schedule ahead of time for future arrival is an option) and you can track your car arrival on your phone. If you don’t have a car, most Lyft/Uber rides are with a couple miles from everything downtown. Here are some codes :)

Lyft: to receive a discount toward your first ride, enter code SUPERSECRETCODE under PROMOS in the app.
Uber: to receive a discount toward your first ride, use promo code vs71m in the app.

Other Things to Note:
| Other Things to Note Before Booking |

| Same-Day Bookings | We work hard to make our homes available for same day booking for those guests in need. With that said, we require a 2-hour processing time from the point that your pre-arrival form is completed, to process and approve it, and provide access details. We ask that guests that are booking the same day refrain from arriving before completing the pre-arrival form and confirmation that their reservation has been approved for check-in.

| Locals | Due to restrictions placed on us by our landlord and as a condition pertaining to our ability to host, we are unable to accept reservations from guests local to the area (within 60 miles of the listing's city). By booking, you hereby accept and agree to this condition and that you'll be required to show proof of residency. Any reservation which does not comply with this restriction will be subject to cancellation. Please contact us if you're booking within your city.

| Representative Photos | We have multiple Abode’s at this property. Each one is designed to provide our guests a beautiful, clean, and comfortable place to stay. The photos will give you a sense of this building’s style. While your Abode may vary slightly, it will be just as well designed.

| Long Stay Cleaning Fees |
Abode reserves the right to charge an additional cleaning fee when a stay exceeds 30 days. For each 30 days increment, an additional cleaning fee will be added to the stay.

| ID Verification + Credit Card Verification |
All guests are required to sign a separate rental agreement, and digitally provide ID prior to receiving access details. This information may be used for a basic public records search. Please see the House Rules section for complete details.

Additional credit card verification is required for bookings where the OTA does not handle guest payments directly. This specifically includes sending a photo of the card used for the booking and confirming a test charge before check-in can be approved. The name on the card must match the name on the reservation.

| Potential for Noise | You’ll be in an urban setting next to train tracks in addition to being in a residential apartment, which may be prone to noise from neighbors. We've included a pair of ear plugs and a white noise machine in case you need a little help getting a good night's sleep.

| Limited On-Site Parking | There is limited on-site parking. However, there is ample street parking available. Reminder to please lock your car and remove valuables - we are not responsible for theft or damage to your vehicle or its contents.

| Please See House Rules for important guest rules before booking |

Originally four of us were going, but two had to cancel. Thankfully they did because there were not enough towels for four. We had a total of four bath towels, one hand towel, and three washcloths. The furniture was old and uncomfortable. The living room had a loveseat and a chair. Again, we were thankful only two of us were there as there was not enough “comfortable” seating for four. The fourth person would have had to sit in a dinette chair. Parking is awful. Do not count on a parking space and do not take a large vehicle. The parking lot is basically an alley with spots haphazardly placed. Permanent residents have an actual parking lot. Their lot was nearly empty the whole time we were there white the non resident lot was overflowing with people trying to create spots. We did not feel safe in the neighborhood. I’m a runner and did not feel comfortable going out for a run. The entire property is fenced so inside the fence we were fine. I have spoken with the property manager about my concerns. The response was prompt.

Great spot to stay if catching a show at Marathon Music Works. Fairly easy walk to Music Row or Downtown.

Property was ok. Room was clean but was in a dated building and in an area not super close to downtown. Updates were not done well especially the bathroom. AC worked well and the area was surprisingly quiet with the exception of the train whistle in the mornings. Downstairs neighbor left their garbage in the hallway and the odor was overwhelming. Area was somewhat sketchy and we observed a fight between two ladies at an adjacent property after coming back from downtown. I would probably spend more and get closer to downtown next time.

Loved the fact that the complex is gated. Not too far from Broadway.

This property is owned by a property management group. They only advertise through VRBO. After you have reserved and pay for the property, they require a picture of your drivers license, a selfie with the DL, and a front and back picture of your credit card. Then they charge you a ridiculously high deposit on top of what you have already paid. None of this is optional. And you don't find this out until right before your stay so you have no option. On top of that they do not have a phone number at all. On top of all of that, this property is in the middle of a very sketchy neighbor hood. My wife and I were approached by people trying tell sell us things we were not interested in. This will probably be the last time I use VRBO.
