Savannah, Georgia
Summary:
This quaint little garden unit nestled right off the sidewalk of historic Charlton Street, is everything you need to call home in Savannah. Built in the mid 1800s, the historic architecture hits you in the face when you arrive. At first, you're greeted by an oversized wrought-iron door and antique brass. When you step inside... the period brick floors and original fireplaces make it clear that this cozy home has been making memories since the 19th century. We have free street parking in the neighborhood and offer free WiFi, a Smart TV, Washer/Dryer and plenty of kitchen space. We are not even a block from Troup Square and and easy walk to EVERYTHING!!

The Space:
Charming 1800s Garden Apt. in Heart of Downtown
We offer a spacious living room with plenty of seating and a pull-out couch (double bed), a fully-equipped kitchen and a large Queen room that opens up into the beautiful stone courtyard. We are just steps from Troup Square, one of the quieter and more private squares in the historic district, and an easy walk to EVERYTHING. We have plenty of space to setup on your laptop and work from home if you're trying to juggle vacationing and "working" remotely ;)
Guest Access:
The entire garden apartment is yours! You may access the rear courtyard at your leisure. It is semi-shared with the owner, where he may need to walk through to get to the garage on occasion, but he's very mindful not to get in anyone's way :). You may use the Smart TV and log into your own apps like Netflix, Hulu, etc.
We allow ONE dog max (no cats) and the fee is $100 which we will need to collect before you check in.
The Neighborhood:
We are in the heart of the Historic District downtown. Everything is walkable and there are a ton of awesome restaurants and shops just a stone's throw away. Some of the best spots in town, like Clary's Cafe (think Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil), Gryphon, Hitch, Mirabelle, Fox & Fig Cafe, J. Christopher's, Zunzi's, only scratch the surface. The historic Cathedral of St. John The Baptist, Flannery O'Connor Childhood Home and Andre Low home are only a few blocks away. We are less than a mile to City Market/River Street and a short walk to Forsyth Park. This location is absolutely prime and perfect for those who want to get a taste of Savannah's history and be in the heart of it all, but have a nice, quiet place to sleep at night. Don't miss out on this quaint Savannah gem!
Getting Around:
Aside from being able to walk everywhere, we recommend taking an Uber/Lyft if you don't feel like making the trek, just because it's cheap and you don't have to worry about parking. Aside from those options, we're only a few blocks to the closest DOT shuttle which is totally free, and gives you a nice little drive through the Historic District, making several stops at the way.
Other Things to Note:
The outdoor courtyard is the only "shared" space, where the owner may walk through occasionally to get into the garage. Parking in this area is free on the street, but always double check the street signs around Savannah before leaving your car.
Interaction with Guests:
We are available via mobile from 9am-8pm Monday-Friday and 10am-8pm Saturday and Sunday. If you have an emergency please call 911. We live downtown so if something comes up, we can be there rather quickly.
We had a great time! The apartment was cozy and comfortable, within walking distance to everywhere in Savannah. The apartment was well-equipped with everything needed for a great stay!
Perfect location. Great clean accommodations. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will book again this spring
My sister, mother and I took a girls trip to Savannah for the weekend and stayed in this beautiful historic apartment. So much attention to detail. The apartment has been beautifully updated and decorated. It was clean, welcoming and spacious. The bed was comfortable and it had everything we needed. We will definitely rent this place again when we come back. Absolutely loved our time spent here.
This rental unit is absolutely darling. Pet friendly & the conveniences are spot on. In the heart of Historic District this unit comes with conveniences of washer & dryer which means a lot on an extended stay. The enclosed courtyard off the bedroom is a special gem! You’ll find this place immaculate as we did & the management company (if needed) is 5 star customer service. We would definitely go back & didn’t want to leave after 2 weeks!
Charming, well kept ground level apartment in the historic area of Savannah. Convenient to all we wanted to see and do, we parked our car on the street right out front and never had to use it, walking everywhere. Modern and fully furnished, it was an excellent place to stay. The hosts stayed in contact throughout. We would definitely stay again!
So much personality in this sweet space. Ate dinner in the courtyard and loved the little square across the street.
A wonderful location in the historic district near the catholic cathedral. Spotless. Easy free parking. We loved how it was not in the middle of things, but walking distance to all the major sites. Also, checking in and out was simple. Our hosts were terrific.
We stayed a week and simply fell in love with Savannah. The accommodations were the cherry on top. The owner/manager Chase made sure any concerns we had were immediately addressed. Lucky for us, there were none. The appropriately decorated apartment was clean and comfortable. The location couldn't have been better, adjacent to troupe square. Perfect for walking our dog. We probably walked over 25 miles that week which luckily burned off a good portion of the many calories acquired during our stay. I could go on and on about the food, but suffice to say... It was awesome. We simply loved our stay in Savannah and hope to return soon.
Super easy and simple.
We had a lovely time at this property. Just the perfect size for my husband and I on our first trip to Savannah. This place is easy to walk to most everything. The hosts are very attentive to fixing any issues as well.
Enjoyed the stay but mattress and pillows need upgrade, and the pullout sofa bed must be replaced. It is well beyond it’s day of any comfort for a sleeper. Quite miserable actually. All else was grand, but lack of rest tints all else.
Everything was perfect; from the location to the cleanliness and decor. It was very quaint and comfortable. The private back patio area was super nice. I like a softer bed and it was very nice. The rooms are good size - not cramped feeling at all. The owners were helpful and accommodating, which was nice because we are new to VRBO. Would definitely recommend.
Great location. Very comfortable. The right price.
We loved the apartment ~ it had everything we needed and we were able to bring our 8 lb. dog with us. It's located in Historic Savannah and so much is within walking distance. Parking here was not a big issue as turnover is frequent but notice the signs when not to park on one side or the other on certain days because the Sweeper comes through at night! :-) Any questions we had were quickly answered via email. We highly recommend!
We absolutely loved our stay in Savannah and this Garden apartment was Just the icing on the cake! Perfect location, gorgeous interior and very comfy. Everything we needed, thank you Chase and Brandon.
Great property in a very quiet neighborhood. Lots of good places to eat within walking distance. Very safe and we found it nice to just walk around and look at the architecture.
Rented this little gem over Labor Day weekend. Super location, quiet street within walking distance to many of the historic squares/sites and spectacular restaurants. Great layout with a well appointed kitchen. Also very clean, passing the sock test which is a must for our family? Check in and out was unbelievably quick and easy and all questions were answered right away. Would definitely stay here next time we visit Savannah.
The apartment was very clean, attractive and perfect location. It was easy to find parking on the street for our two cars.
We so enjoyed our quarters. clean, quiet, well furnished. The location is perfect. We had an enclosed private garden in which to have our morning coffee. Will definitely stay here again if we return!
